I placed an order for 2 items on amazon on 6/23 on my prime 2 day delivery. The expected time of delivery was 6/25 before 8pm.

I get a email notifying me on 6/25. My delivery has been now changed to 6/26 at 9pm. I get an email around 10 am on 6/26 that my item has been delivered and I go out to check my mail box and nothing has been delivered. I call up amazon customer service and explained to them what happened and they told me that the delivery service sometimes pre scan the delivery.

Which is prohibited. I was very upset about this and requested a full refund.

Buyers beware. You are at the mercy of the delivery services.
