What used to be a fantastic service has degraded to a third rate online shopping experience. You expect to pay a bit more purchasing through Amazon Prime for the once prompt 2-day delivery, however those days are gone.
Deliveries are routinely misdelivered ( it has become routine for me to run through the neighborhood looking for my Amazon package sitting on a neighbors porch), or delivered 2-30 days late. Yes, thats right. A Christmas ornament ordered on Dec 5th finally found its way to my mailbox on Jan 5th! Furthermore, the Amazon website makes it impossible to report a misdelivered package.
I have reported misdeliveries by USPS and Amazon through a lengthy frustrating online chat (buried deep in the website) only to have a Customer Service representative repeatedly say they were sorry for the inconvenience, but offering no solution or compensation.
I will be supporting businesses that actually care about fulfilling their promises and are not too big to turn a deaf ear on their loyal customers. Dont waste your money on Prime, it no longer represents the services promised.
Preferred solution: Let the company propose a solution.
Amazon Cons: Customer service is a joke.
