Amazon refused to issue $404 refund

I purchased a $404 vacuum cleaner from Amazon. This item was advertised as an Amazon Prime item (I was a member); however, the item wasn't shipped as a prime item (delivery took a week). I returned the item because it didn't work very good & had the tracking information that showed exactly when Amazon received it. They claimed they didn't receive it & refused to issue a refund. All of the customer service people that I talked to had very heavy Indian accents & were completely useless. I will NEVER use Amazon again.

If You have proof that Amazon received item back, contact Your credit card company and tell them the situation, and see if they can get your money back. If that doesn't work contact your lawyer, and sue them For your money, and attorney fees! Hope this helps.

I laugh when I see the "guaranteed" two day shipping at Amazon.com. Sometimes is does come in two days, or it comes a few days later.

Overall, tho they are pretty good but it's not wise to actually believe Amazon is being entirely truthful when it comes to shipping.

Many times they will ship something via UPS and it is delivered to my local post office where it will sit for a few days until the postman decides he should deliver it. Or, it never leaves the post office---it just "disappears." Amazon is not what they claim to be.

Amazon in Killeen, Texas - 20% restocking fee that was never disclosed until I returned the rug

Beware of Amazon! I bought a large rug and then returned it at my expense. Seller took out 20% for restocking fees. I complained to Amazon that the restocking fee was not disclosed to me. Amazon basically told me they would not do anything about it. It was not under their guarantee The Amazon.com A-to-z Guarantee refund policy only covers: 1) When the buyer provided payment to the seller, but the seller failed to deliver the item. 2) When the buyer received the item, but the item was materially different than as depicted in the seller's description. In this case we have determined that you are not eligible for an A-to-z Guarantee claim as you did receive the item you ordered. My problem was with the 20% charge that was not disclosed to me when I bought the $214 rug. I am now out $45 for shipping the rug back and $42.98 for the restocking fee. Amazon offers no assistance in requiring the 3rd party shipper to refund the restocking fee. Deceptive trade practice is what I call this!

I am a prime member and I choose only what they fulfill..But I pay fees to deliver to the USVI ? I mistakenly bought my grandson and daughter some bandage supply's after a scooter wreck , thinking they would get it there better then my sending two day air with the USPS ....wrong guarantee four days with Amazon ... First I called 6 days out .. Seems vender had a buck price change so slowed it down ? Next went to calif to be mailed.. Huh..I'm in tex..should have gone Miami .. Then I get the usps label and checked it seems they didn't get pkg till 10th after ordered the 7th watched usps for a time and nothing ! Seems it's five days from when they get it... Called back told by nice girl.. Can't help..ask for a mgr...Charles came on line told me he would try recall pkg and if he can he will refund me only because medical supplies..huh... Then I go to store buy new supplies go to post office send more stuff... Well my pkg got there in three days.. Still no Amazon ..yesterday the 16th Amazon arrived .... I am out double cost ..and they gave me back the ten bucks shipping .... I will rethink prime in the future

Fulfillment by Amazon is the problem, taking 4-5 days, is a bit like being back in the stagecoach days. Way too slow to my mind. Everything is computerized why is this taking so long to fulfill? I would say its from too many chiefs and not enough actual people to do the jobs of pulling orders. This happens every time i order something from amazon. At Ebay its shipped out the very next day. ORDER # 116-6006792-4493818, PLACED November 18, 2015. TOTAL $17.95. received Nov 27th at 4.30 pm. in Houston, tx.

Amazon - Eightball Lost Cd Review from Houston, Texas

I purchased a cd from Amazon. It was a 3disc cd compilation with the 3rd disc being the bonus cd. The artist is Eightball and the title is Lost . Upon finally opening the cd, there were only 2 disc in the case. The 3rd being non included. How do we go about rectifying this situation. I don't want to return my disc I just want what I ordered and paid for.

Good luck. Ordered a DVD for approx.

$26.00. It was a faulty DVD. After incredible jumping through hoops with forms and returns I got approx. $4.00 refunded and had to buy a new dvd.

There is TOO MUCH much lack of customer care and concern at Amazon.

Amazon is on a steep downhill slide. Too big for its own good.

I finally just asked her to put a manager on the phone she refuse for a few minutes and pretend to put a manager on the phone but it was obviously her. So I just hung up and called back again then this rude Catherine E. woman, CANCELS MY ORDER! For four hours I am transfer to different people and no one can replicate the order because it was a promotion. I call corporate office and took 5 calls just to get someone to enter the right address. Amazon - Massage Chair Review from El Paso, Texas

I placed an order through Amazon for a portable massage chair. This was 5 days ago! It said it would be shipped out by Friday June 12th so it would arraive on time for father's day. It's Monday night June 15th and the chair hasn't been shipped. Father's day is a couple days away, I have no gift, I have sent 3 emails and they have not responded. I need my order shipped asap and I should have to pay for faster shipping. My card was charged for the full amount the next day of the order. I ordered other things from a different company that same day and I have received everything already.
