Tried to logon and got a message that a text was went to an old inactive account that I no longer have access to.
Contacted customer service to change email addy and got a lot of question for personal and credit data, then started asking question about purchase. At 80, I make a note of purchases, but do not retain them once delivery is made, so once they asked me about purchase history, things bogged down.
I attempted to cancel my account and they refused.
Now, I can't access my account to monitor possible invalid charges.
Senior citizens beware. You will be penalized for having short term memory issues
User's recommendation: Senior citizens beware. Amazon has lost my long lived patronage.
Preferred solution: Fix the email addy or cancel account and refund prime membership.
Amazon Pros: Reasonable, Prices.
Amazon Cons: Catch-22 security questions, Hard to understand customer service liguistics.
