I bought a monitor and a computer for my mother's birthday in September. She asked that I set it up for her. I live in another state and did not get back home till the beginning of November. Opened up the box and the monitor did not work. Amazon would not except a return without a 20% stocking fee b/c they said it was past 30 days. Brand new doesn't work and all I wanted to do is swap for one that did. Do not buy gifts from Amazon!

Details
My order never arrived! Nobody notified me at all. It was a birthday present! Ruined the whole event for me because it was planned for the next day celebration. The customer service is absolutely the worst experience Ive ever had! They promised to call me to discuss the problem and never did! I reached them but they laughed on the phone and said we can’t refund the order cause it’s still on the way ??? After two days maybe? After the birthday party is over ?? Unbelievable! I’ll never shop from Amazon again!!!

Same thing happened to me with a chaise lounge I bought to use for out of town guests - chaise lounge arrived LONG AFTER GUESTS LEFT - only 4 days too late!

Answer - To Bad. Trouble shooter hung up on me. He sad to call back and try again. Can not log into my account. i need to tell him expiration date and last 4 digits of that credit card Number. I have no idea and that card was closed several years ago. Amazon People refused to connect ve to a manager. The SOB slammed phone down in my ear!!!!! Have been trying to use this account for 6 months with no luck. Purchased $300 product from another vender.

Had the same experience when I went to go return my Dell Flagship because it's got non-working USB ports on it. And I try returning only 4 months after I got it. First they said get a hold of Dell about it, then Dell said the same thing... they sold the computer back...

On multiple occasions I have tried to post reviews regarding issues with orders from Amazon. They have a policy of rejecting any review that they feel is negative or critical of them. They will label them as offensive or inappropriate. This is the actual review they called inappropriate: Still waiting for delivery. Received notification of delays with no explanation. Stay away from this product unless you don't mind waiting forever to receive what you paid for.

I would like to know why Amazon is allowed to keep sellers money without EVER RETURNING it back to the sellers. I was sent a notice from Amazon on 10/31/2018 due to "You currently may not sell on Amazon.com because you are offering items that MAY be inauthentic". This was on something that was NEVER sold. I am a small business owner and I do not think it is fair for them not to return my money in the amount of 3756.04. Is there any help you can provide?
