We had water damage due to missing information in installation instructions for a bidet sold by Amazon. Amazon blamed the manufacturer & refused to take any liability.
Customer service was difficult and rude. We had flooding on all 3 floors of home cause instructions do not inform customer to shut off main water valve in home. Pics do not include damage to walls, ceilings, drywall and personal belongings. Would expect Amazon to offer compensation for damages and be accountable for any products they advertise and sell.
Not just blame manufacturer and not even help customer at all or offer to help make up for errors. We are valued customers who use Amazon a LOT but if no rectification well shop elsewhere and advise friends & family to do same. We also plan to contact BBB.
We have proof of purchase if needed. Bidet was approx.
$250. Would like compensation but we managed to install bidet no thanks to Amazon and will keep product. We didnt go through this only to return and thats that.
But if we get no help from Amazon we will go to BBB and never shop with them again. We have given them thousands in purchases and expect to be treated better than nope nothing we can do.
