Ordered a fishing rod that was in stock. They told me it was shipped and gave a delivery date which was about a week.

When the delivery date was here I got emailed that the item would be shipped in two weeks. Four weeks and waiting. No contact info. No recourse but to cancel.

However amazon is still selling the same item for a higher price with 2 days shipping. Amazon does not give any options for customer inquiries. No customer support.

And they say amazon will be a force to be reckoned with in the retail industry. with their customer service and questionable products they should be in line with Sears accomplishment.

Amazon has both an instachat option and a customer e-mail that they respond to within 24 hours. I've used both many times with NO issues.
