UPS had been a delivery nightmare for 3 years and counting for us. We added shipping notes to our Amazon account and Amazon does nothing with the shipping notes for the customer.
UPS and Amazon offer no help when a delivery is not made or damaged. The customer should contact the credit card company and dispute the transaction. UPS refuses to deliver, Amazon does not consider shipping instructions, both together are a RIP OFF. The recent problem cost us $100 and time and effort.
Amazon thought offering a $25 gift card for the trouble was good customer service, I told them just to keep the $25 it is useless and insulting, we just spent $1000. You will waste so much time on the phone and email with UPS and Amazon, save yourself the problems and just call your credit card company. Amazon is not capable of handling any type of problem for the customer nor is UPS. Both companies are RIP OFFs, when the deliveries are made there is no problem.
But when there is an Issue, Amazon and UPS offer no resolution. I have disputed tons of transactions with MasterCard citing these same problems over 3 years.
User's recommendation: Call your credit card company and dispute the charges. You can also dispute charges and transactions online with your credit account.
Monetary Loss: $100.
Preferred solution: Deliver product or service ordered.
Amazon Pros: Nice selection.
Amazon Cons: Bad policies and refund policies, Delvery service is terrible, Lack of interest of consumers.
