Place a multiple item order from Amazon.com. Order broken down into 4 separate deliveries.
Received 3 deliveries without any problems. These were single item deliveries. The last delivery was a multiple item delivery. The box was damaged upon arrival.
The top flap was half opened. On the bottom of the box, the tape had broken on the sides, so that if lifted up, the bottom flaps hung down with a gap. One corner of the box had *** and looked like it had split open as it was taped up. Upon opening the package all the way, and checking the contents, one item was missing, a Movie collection DVD, and one DVD case was broken and in pieces.
The packaging in the box was not very good and items (DVD's) were able to move around inside without hindrance, hence the broken DVD case. Using Amazon's help site, I was able to get the broken DVD replaced. No where on Amazon's website is there to contact them about problems with orders, particularly incomplete or missing orders. I contacted the delivery service (FedEx), and talked to a live person.
Reported to them about the condition of the box upon delivery, and that I was missing an item from it. They were very helpful!
I have had no luck contacting Amazon about the missing item. I've tried to leave reviews about all this, but it gets kicked back and does not show up on website.
Reason of review: Problem with delivery.
Monetary Loss: $20.
Preferred solution: Deliver product or service ordered.
