I purchased the iRobot Roomba for $849 2 days ago. I was told that it would be sent out in 5 days.

I see today that the Roomba is discounted $250 and now on sale for $599. I called Amazon and they would not credit me the difference. I had to purchase the Roomba at the new price and return the first Roomba. I was unable to cancel the first order because it has already shipped, ok, I'll just return it when it comes, and I will now order the new Roomba at the new lower price.

Guess what?!?!?! I am unable to order the Roomba because it is no longer available (to me). Wow..........

I had someone else order the Roomba at the new lower price for me (it is available to them) and I'll return mine when it arrives. This is really very poor practice.
