If Amazon doesn't want to leave the deliveries to experienced delivery companies they should come up with a sincere way of apologizing to the customers they let down. Perhaps a 25% discount or every day the order is late which would make the product free on the 4th day. It might give them an incentive to get their act together.

Amazon - Horrible customer service especially during Holidays

Item is 3 days late so I call in and rep guarantees me that it is on the way. She gets on the phone with USPS while we are still online and definitively declares that it will be delivered in 2 hours. I call back 3 hours later only to be told the package is lost. Get your act together AMAZON and please stop hiring telephone reps who are clueless and not empowered to make satisfactory compensation.

I didn't buy used books, but 2 cameras that cost more than $3000. I ordered 2 xt3 Fujifilm cameras, one day delivery to do my business on Wednesday, an order to be fulfilled by Amazon. I had to use these cameras on Friday night, and I didn't get them. I spent my Friday morning talking to representatives and their supervisors. When I called the first representative he sent me an email in the middle of the conversation saying that my item will arrive next Tuesday (almost a week late). During the weekend I had to do shooting. I lost the job and money... On Friday morning they guaranteed me to deliver the item on Saturday. It is Saturday noon, and still the items are not marked as shipped. I spent my Saturday morning talking to representatives who couldn't do anything, but saying sorry. They cannot communicate or send a message to the warehouse, and they can't do anything. I told them, you guys messed me up, send it in 4 hours with a taxi driver, or order it from b&h or Adorama for me, to go and pick it up. My only way of paying for these expensive cameras was to use the Amazon Store Card, which is not accepted at B&H or Adorama. I asked them to call the warehouse and speed them up. The Amazon supervisors couldn't do anything but say that they are sorry. I have a headache... I payed for other accessories from other companies for one day delivery (atomos V recorder for the cameras, cables, batteries) and I got them on time, but I can't use them... because the cameras are the core part. So I payed one-day shipping to them for these accessories, loosing money as I was unable to use them. One of my first use of these cameras will be to make a video, discouraging people from using Amazon services, and I will post it on youtube, Vimeo, social media, on my website, etc...

You need a little bit of savy to be a business person, which you clearly do not have. You can't order anything - one day shipping or not - that you ABSOLUTELY MUST HAVE online.

The postal service, couriers, etc. are too unpredictable. Anyone with a brain should know this.

Amazon needs to refund the one-day shipping charge, that is all. Be better prepared and make better decisions.

WAKE UP AMAZON! I have hundreds of orders with Amazon every year. Amazon allows FedEx to make total fools of their company. FedEx constantly claims that they attempted to deliver packages and that the business was closed or that there was no answer. My company building is open extremely early in the morning and closes very late at night. Many people who reside at my condominium, also have this problem, as FedEx claims that they attempted to deliver packages, but they were never here. I have been home many times when this occurred. They claim to have left a door tag, but they didn't because they were never here. I have many FedEx drivers as clients and they admit to this. WAKE UP AMAZON!

Amazon - HORRIBLE, INSOLUBLE SIGN-IN DIFFICULTIES

I have used Amazon for years. Suddenly, over the past month, I have been getting a constant error message whenever I try to order online and I come to the point where I have to sign in. The system retains my original email address, which I registered with when I joined, and it exhibits a number of asterisks highlighted in blue - my password. At least 10 times I have clicked "sign in," assuming that the blue-highlighted asterisks represent my password, preserved in the system. When I do that I get another error message telling me that either my email or my password is incorrect. I have tried to solve this problem by changing my password - this has not solved the problem. I called customer service and was on the phone with a representative for an hour. He could not solve the problem. Moreover, he kept talking over me and not listening to what I was telling him. I am a journalist and interview people constantly for my work; I am accustomed to doing research, and to carrying out assignments requiring meticulous accuracy. So I do not believe the problem is mine. This company is the worst I have ever dealt with in my 60-plus years of life.

on 3/18/2016 at 2:20 PM I was looking up toys for my kids birthday when i found Amazon.com they had low prices on the toys and i bought some toys on 3/18/2016 at 3:23 PM but they did not ship the toys i bought or even offer me a refund not even 1 cent was offered when i called Amazon customer service on 3/19/2016 at 12:23 PM from them i will go on eBay for now on as eBay is able to ship in time and they have better customer service

Amazon - Disgusting account specialists

Amazon closed my prime account permanently with out notice. The account specialist send extremely rude emails & won't speak to anyone. I have been a prime member for years & this is how they treat customers, disgusting. I gave a family of 5 and can't get a helpful person too answer. I have had too ask numerous times on why & finally ask for my prime money back and they haven't responded. I have never seen a company treat customers they way they have. To permanently close an account with answers is unprofessional and doing research they are doing this to numerous customers.

I order a Phil&Ted car seat from Amazon. Which order thru a third party. FedEx lost the car seat. So I called Amazon. Instead of calling the third party to get me a new car seat which is need ASAP because my grand baby is due soon. They gave me a refund which depending on your bank take 7-10 business day. To make things easy for me the customer they could have call the company to order a new car seat instead of giving me a refund to reorder the car seat again which Amazon is now sell but at a higher price. This is not how you fix a issue that is not the customer fault. So now because the car seat is still needed I have to wait to get my refund to order the item again but pay more for. Amazon this is 2015 update your system to make things easier for the customer especially when it not their fault. This is bad customer service. I will buy the car seat straight from Phil& Ted. You just lost a very good customer.

Wait till this person finds out it is not a refund to the bank. They will receive a credit to their amazon account - which has to be spent at amazon.

So you got your money back and the seller was out a car seat. You expect more? Your real complaint should be with fedex or with yourself waiting to the last minute for something you knew was needed for months.

I agree with prior comment stating you need to pay extra for expedited shipping. Amazon.com has excellent customer service low priced or free shipping options.

Amazon.com uses a variety of mail carriers and sometimes the carrier offers a tracking number that Amazon.com can post to your order. If the tracking information says 'Left the Seller Facility' then that means Amazon.com has shipped your package. Now it is up to UPS, USPS, Fed/Ex, etc. to send updates your shipping.

For example, USPS may not post an update until the package is delivered.
