This doesn’t happen in response to review content. It’s a computer making the decision based on seller contact with you before you review.

Also deleting and reposting a review or editing a review triggers it Same happened to me! I called and reported it and they filed a complaint with review board, then I got an automated response from the review board stating they carefully reviewed my account and found I was in violation. Well it was obvious to me that was b.s. and this was a form letter so I replied to it stating: clearly you did NOT carefully review my account because if you had you would see I was innocent and restored my account!!!

About 7 days later they replied saying my reviews and privileges were restored. I replied directing them to this site and letting them know this was a huge problem and not isolated.

So don’t give up! You have to complain at least twice before a human gets involved.

While I can see you being upset, to say that your daughter's Christmas gift was reduced to "an I Love You" gift. Really?

She didn't understand that it was supposed to be a surprise for Christmas? And "Merry Christmas, honey!" was just not good enough? BTW...a list of synonyms for atrocious: brutal, barbaric, barbarous, savage, vicious, beastly

Oh my!

I truly understand that you were disappointed about the packaging, but do you think your daughter was traumatized as much as you? I do empathize, but I think you made it a bigger deal than it was.

I would like to express how frustrated and annoyed I am with the service I have been receiving with Amazon Prime. If you have members pay for a premium service like Prime, at least give them premium service. It all started with an order of an external hard drive and case (#103-7583033-7891418). I ordered it with Prime's free two day shipping. I only received the case an hour after the expected delivery time. I contacted support via live chat, and the first rep I spoke to was Ash. She processed a replacement order (#115-1066157-9090639) and offered a $10 credit. She also told me the replacement would not be sent with Amazon Logistics, like it was the first time. It was. The replacement order was also late, so I contacted live chat again, and spoke to Ellery. She told me Amazon was unable to select what carrier service they use. Due to the miscommunication, she offered another $10 credit. I finally received the external hard drive a day later than originally expected. Come to today... I was shopping for a camera for my vacation in October. I found the Cannon Powershot (#102-1035491-0983449). At the time I ordered it, it showed "FREE PRIME SAME DAY DELIVERY" by 9PM tonight. Come 3:45pm, there was no tracking information, so I contacted live help again, and spoke with Naved. He told me it wasn't going to ship until 11:15pm tonight, and not be delivered until tomorrow. The only delivery people we've had has been UPS, FedEx, or USPS. I have Prime and the only delivery problem I have is when it's delivered and its raining, the package is put in the puddle of water on my front porch, otherwise I have had no problem and I am a very frequent shopper.

Amazon used to be a great place to shop, but now what they have is a bunch of sellers advertising one thing, to fool you into thinking that you see is what you'll get, but at the end they ship you something else, a cheap lookalike product that is no where's near like the one in their description, I've been fool 4 times already, I have complain about this practice, but for some reason Amazon just wont put a stop to it. I now have my 5th Kindle which the third ine just stopped working . It was the most expensive one and lasted less than 2years. I reported probems with it under a year old like the screen turning off when you lay it flat and it was unresolved. They offered me a measely $30 as if that was anything comoared to the almost $500 that I bought it for.I love my Kindle and was never going to buy another but my daughter bought me ine. I am pissed! I have spent a ridiculous amount od money with Amazon over the years and their customer service sucks!
