I contacted customer service chat FOUR days ago regarding several missing items I ordered as Christmas gifts. The rep refunded a few small things then said he was escalating the rest of the items and I would be contacted by the next day.
That never happened. I had to go buy gifts and spend more money doing it because now I dont trust Amazon to get my packages here. I also tried to use the credit the rep gave me for a few small items to buy a gift card for someone instead of purchasing merchandise, but your not allowed to do that. This has been a great inconvenience for me.
I am disabled and unable to drive, so I have to pay to get to where Im going. Thats why I shop on Amazon so much. I never got refunded for the other items I did not receive and the drivers keep either putting all the items downstairs in the common area of the building or they deliver them to the wrong address altogether. My neighbors and I are forever bringing packages to each other because of delivery errors.
When they put them in the common area, sometimes they disappear. My instructions say to deliver them to my door and that rarely happens! Im also really tired of the drivers marking the deliveries with, Handed package directly to customer, or delivered to front desk, or delivered to mail room. They have NEVER directly handed me a package!!!
We do not have a front desk, this is not a nursing home or place of business, so no front desk and NO mailroom!!!
I need someone who please contact me via email or text regarding these issues. I would appreciate it if I got a refund for the items I never received.
User's recommendation: Don’t expect drivers to follow delivery instructions or customer service reps to follow up when they have your money already.
