Contact your bank because Amazon Payment approval is quick. I am 100% sure your bank has blocked you from using Amazon's service not Amazom.com!

Inconsiderate Amazon seller and no response

I ordered an item as a Christmas gift, which was actually given on Dec 28th, as we traveled to the recipient's home after Christmas Day. We didn't arrive home until after Jan 2, the deadline from the Amazon seller (ebusiness). My first request to return the item, which was around Jan 8 (I didn't then know about their deadline) went unanswered. I tried again and was told it wasn't returnable. So 3 things: 1) January 2 is an inconsiderate deadline.2) There's no excuse for not responding to a customer, and 3) it is nearly impossible to contact Amazon with a complains such as this. The menu of options doesn't address it as an option. What is, I suppose meant to make contacting them easy, is a lesson in frustration. Less business - far less - for Amazon from me, and none for ebusiness.

Amazon review in Western Springs, Illinois: Nasty customer service......

Hello from Chicago here. I should have asked them which end they wanted first talk about gettin ....... any way so rude ..This is customer fraud or false advertising yet at its best.. I spoke with Manager about advertisment on tv and she claimed that in order to get pans it was a seperate ship and handeling free. I have a new tenant and she has no stove nd I thought I would treat her. I want to say I read at Amazon a couple of reviews that there are other alternatives for cookware I think I seen copper as a alternative maybe I or others can leave a little in fo on this..

Amazon review in Bloomington, Illinois: Order still not here!

I ordered an item on amazon a week ago and still have not gotten it. I was suppose to get it 2 days ago and still haven't. I would not be so upset if it had arrived when it said it was going to. and each time i track the package it says out for delivery. I am starting to think that is not the case. I need this item quickly. Otherwise I would not be writing this complaint! so with that said yes i am pissed off at Fed ex at the moment! Please get me my package!

You're getting pissed at the wrong place. This is supposed to be, at least theoretically, a responsibility of the seller if the item isn't received.

Remember you're the buyer. You ordered an item but haven't received it so be proactive.

Here now, don't be timid, file a negative feedback immediately, and A-Z claim along, saying that you haven't received your item. This will get their attention immediately.

The A-Z will get your money back. Let the seller talk to the Fed Ex or whatever delivery system they used. It's not your problem, and neither the FexEx's. This problem belongs to Amazon which at the end it will all come to the seller.

Amazon/PayPal Holding Funds

Anyone who has used Amazon or PayPal should definitely take note: I am currently gathering names and complaints from people who are currently (or have ever) been victims of Amazon's (or Paypal) fund holds. This is illegal in all but 2 states, and I want to gather as large a group as possible to make them pay for this unethical business practice. Best case scenario would be a class action lawsuit. Contracts, such as TOS's and EULA's, can be deemed void if they violate law; Under jurisdictions in which the "hold" is deemed illegal, an attorney can argue that the contract is void due to an implied consent to break the law. Thus, if the grounds of a class action is incumbent upon an illegal clause in the contract to cause it to be void, then the agreement to not engage in class actions may be deemed void as well.

Amazon's Publishing Nightmare

Amazon is paying little attention to the product reviews published on their site. As a result, many of the reviews published are propagated from product to product without any relevance. This mistake relates to all products, all editions, etc., be they books, music, cameras, or you name it. For example, read the reviews on any music CD published in several different editions, blue book format, SACD, 1-cd packages, 2-cd packages, extended, remastered, etc. You will find that the same reviews have been propagated across all editions and that what the reviewers were talking about for one version of a CD has nothing to do with another version that was enhanced, remastered, or extended with added tracks, rerecorded, etc. The lack of oversight on what they are publishing makes many of the reviews worthless unless the reviewer specifically identifies the edition by features like release date, format, number of CDs, or other identifying characteristics that allow the reader to tell without question if the review relates to the specific product. Obviously, those of us trying to make informed buying decisions can't rely on Amazon's published reviews.

As a an online retail giant you could make a difference! Love Amazon and have been a regular shopper but please, no blood money!!!

Slick Vick is feeding his ego and bank account, he could have donated prior to this but he is one of the many criminals that is seeking to profit from him crimes.

I would not view a movie, read a book or listen to anyone who attempts to profit from crime. Make a difference, speak in a way Vick will hear...his ego or pocket!

Amazon Is Allowing College Students To Buy, Use, Then Return Books.

Amazon.com let a student buy a book from me, use the book for a class and then forced me to accept the return and refund the students money once the student was done with my book. Weeks after a student bought my book for her class Amazon.com is forcing me to accept the return of the book and telling me I Must Refund her money. I closed my Amazon.com Seller Account on Feb 27th 2012. Right after I closed my account this student wanted to return a book to me for refund over a month after she bought it, after she had used it for a college class, which I refused to accept. Amazon.com sent me e-mails asking me to respond, but I never receive them because my account was closd. Finally when I did get one of their emails about this return it instructed me to only repond through my Seller Account, which was closed, and I could not respond to the emails directly as no email address was provided. I could not respond in any way with my side of the story. So I called Amazon.com and spoke to Customer Service. I was hung up on several times after complaining. Finally I got a guy who told me where I could send an email with my side of the story; however, by then it was too late. Amazon.com had already made their decision, having not heard from me, in favor of refunding the buyer and charged my Visa Debit for the chargeback fraudulently for the book. Amazon.com customer service said that once my Seller Account was closed that I would not have received their emails asking for my side of the story, which is true, I did not receive Amazon.com's emails asking for my side of the story until it was too late. I would call this Fraud as I made every attempt to contact Amazon.com by calling the Seattle office over and over with no results.

Something similar happened to me. Initiate a complaint at the BBB www.bbb.org, the process is very simple.

This process forces amazon to consider and respond to your every email.

I am in the process right now and it is becoming apparent that amazon's policies are bizarre. Hopefully I will get my money back and amazon's policies change for the better.

Hi, a similar thing happened to me, contact the bbb (www.bbb.org, its really easy process) The BBB forced amazon to respond to my emails and and stay in contact and forces them to respond every time you communicate and records all the conversations. I still haven't gotten my money back yet, but it is forcing amazon to consider and respond to my arguments and hopefully they will make some changes that will make being a seller on amazon a better place, and hopefully I will get my money back.

All I can say about SdChRoNiC's comment is ...wow.

Students who buy these books don't want to keep a 100.00 book that they won't ever use again!

As having used this service, it has been very nice to have another resource for texts. I also have books for sale, and will gladly help out fellow students, I'm sure your book wasn't brand new anyway

Idiots at amazon

Its monday, ordered 2 items last wednesday, called friday night and no delivery information. called and spoke to rep who could tell me nothing but the goods had shipped. so, they sent me UPS tracking for 2 packages, saying in transit. IT WAS NOT. packages actually shipped days later. I called today and they grilled me like it was my fault for following up. used the website immediate callback feature 10 times, and no body returned my call. got them to return the call going thru chat. they the could not figure out the problems. they were rude and not professional. dont buy from amazon.com

When tracking my Amazon item it was out for delivery came to Carpentersville then returned to Itasca

Delivery was for 4-29-11 then 4-30-11 my amazon Ipod left Itasca IL was out for delivery 12 hours but nerer made it 30 miles away to Carpentersville, Il as of 1:20 PM 5-1-11 the item is still out for delivery and not at my house.they should sub it out to Fedex or UPS or Even US mail This is not a true delivery service when they return it back to their Itasca base and not delivering it when they were alreaqdy in Carpentersville This also gives Amazon a black eye and may cause customers to shop with someone that has a real delivery service

When add an intermediary such as UPS and they screw up it is your problem, so your customer should address it with you and hold you accountable and you (Amazon) it is your responsibility to deal with UPS. Good business come on.

Amazon to my knowledge does not personally deliver products. They have UPS, USPS or whomever, deliver it. Your problems is with one of them.
