I found out the gift cards I had received were redeemed by someone else. I tried to have Amazon deactivate the cards.

I was told that I would be reimbursed and that my issue would be escalated. I received an email asking for copies of the gift cards, which I provided. The next day, I received an email, thanks for the copies, but we won't reimburse you even though we acknowledged someone else used the cards.

When I asked for why they needed the copies, I was given a lie: "to make sure the redemption of the cards was not due to an technical error." and was subsequently disconnected from the chat. Not only did they say it is not our problem, but they are aiding the criminals in their stealing of other people's money by not deactivating the cards and cancelling the orders.
