Amazon - Refund issue

Several weeks ago I cancelled amazon prime as I did not sign up for this. I was suppose to receive a refund and so far I have not. I cannot talk to a person and the website seems not to be clear to address this problem I only want my refund.

Two nights ago at around 12:30 a.m. I impulsively added a Kindle Paperwhite to my cart. I decided to wait until morning to reconsider. Yesterday morning (around 8:45 a.m.) I saw this in my cart: 2 items in your Saved Items have changed price. All-new Kindle Paperwhite Water-Safe Fabric Cover (10th Generation-2018), Marine Blue has increased from $24.99 to $29.99 Kindle Paperwhite – Now Waterproof with 2x the Storage has increased from $109.99 to $149.99" From $109.00 to $144.99 in 7 hours!!???? What kind of games are those? Chat customer service defended this to the nth degree than asked me "What do you want here?" I said I'd buy it for the original price and then she said I should "wait for the price to go down again." I've had real retailers agree to match prices - their own and competitors'. I didn't like this treatment

I ordered and received my product and I had to return it because it would not fit. I received it on a Friday and returned it on that Monday. That was a month ago. Today, I finally got my refund. If Amazon can charge your account immediately, why does it take 30 days to get your credit back. I followed the instructions to the letter. Amazon decided to give me a "gift" card for my efforts. Two weeks ago, I chatted with customer no-service concerning my refund and my displeasure over the time it was going to take. I was also reminded that I would be responsible for my payment. No where in that chat did the customer no-service speak about a gift card. On the date that I was told I would receive my credit, it still was not there. Call placed to customer no-service and then I found out that my credit was a "gift card". I asked for a supervisor and told it would take 48 hours to see the credit on my account. In this day of instant communications and a very high tech company, it is going to take 48 hours? What? Do they write a credit ticket and walk it to the bank and wait for a receipt? This is my last dealing with this company. If you cannot make your customers happy and let them brag about what you did for them, no matter how big you are you will not last as number 1 for long. Enjoy the wave. Just remember these 3 letter: IBM. Case and point.

I find it hard to believe Amazon has to increase their profit margin by almost 21% above what the manufacturer, Oxo, built into their MSRP for 2nd party sellers. I expect to see this sort of over-pricing from your 3rd party sellers, which I try not to purchase from.

Amazon - Run to Apple and don't look back

I wish someone would explain what has happened to Amazon customer service. I was a loyal customer for over a decade but I am now ditching everything Amazon and converting solidly to Mac. Even if that means that I have to shell out money for items and services I already owned with Amazon. There customer service needs to be renamed to customer bashing and berating as that is all you will receive from them. They have sent me faulty devices and refused to share information regarding my account. I asked repeatedly to speak with supervisors only be to be lied to and fed lines about their lack of availability and that someone I was speaking to was "As high as [I] could go." if that is the case, no wonder Amazon has fallen in tot he WalMart category of online services and products. Cheap and reliable only to the point of faulty.

We had a really bad experience with Amazon as we ordered a patio set which did not live upto its quality. The quality was bad, it was flimsy and would get pushed by 2 feet every time you would attempt to sit on it. When we called the customer service, they were rude, did not inform us that they deal only with e-mails. We wasted hours talking to them and they would not pay for the return shipping of the item. The issues we had were the following 1) Poor quality of the product 2) Misisng harware and we had to make a few trips to the hardware store. 3) Misinformed the customer. 4) Misrepresented the product. 5) Poor customer service. Rather rude customer service. 6) They cut you when you talk to them as they need to go on the next call. They do not respect you at all. 7)We spoke with the return rep twice before we were told that they don't talk over the phone and deal with such issues on emails. I would never buy again from Amazon and would also discourage my friends and social gatherings to do do.

Terrible Customer Service, Actually NO CUSTOMER SERVICE, I WAS HUNGUP ON BY WILLIAM, who was supposed to be a Supervisor!! How RUDE! I called because per your website the package was to be delivered on Monday, Nov 3, but no package. So today I called Customer Service and spoke with Representative Maureen, who said it was the Shipper's fault because it didn't get sorted correctly. So the package went from PA to 3 places in Florida and she wasn't sure where it was (maybe on a truck to Atlanta? I asked for her Supervisor, got Loretta who told me it might arrive in Atlanta in 3 days from Orlando, Florida. (It's a 7 hour drive.) But NO WEEKEND DELIVERY! They only do weekend deliveries in Major Metro Areas - wow, didn't know Atlanta wasn't a Major Metro Area? So I asked to speak with her Supervisor, on comes William who wants to argue with me about it not being their fault and then HANGS UP ON ME. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY FOR ANY OF YOUR SHIPPING NEEDS!!!!

Okay I buy alot from Amazon and they do not have awesome customer service when you buy thousands a month they suck on customer service. They first offer to next day your order at no charge okay big deal.

I record every call I make to Amazon customer service and when I caught them lying to me on items that suppossedly shipped that actually never shipped yet they would no longer answer emails or calls from me.

I buy alot of automotive stuff from Amazon because they are cheaper but have since stopped because they have zero control over their sellers and fixing issues with them. They are as bad or worse than overstock ( we sell everybody's returned ***) .com

I purchased a Santa wig and beard. When it arrived it was different from the one in the photo on the Amazon 7th Avenue website.

Four phone calls, one live chat, and three emails later I can only return the item by losing $5.75 shipping, and paying 20% restocking fee. Iuld never have purchased this item if I had seen the photo that appears on the actual package.These people are using bait-and-switch tactics by misrepresenting the quality of the merchandise.

I realized later that they are also using the same photo for two other wig sets at two different prices. Why isn't anyone being held accountable for these illegal practices?
