Purchased $2100 drone, electing to pay using the offered 12 mo interest-free financing. Was actually charged to my Amazon Prime Visa as regular purchase.
Chase Bank, servicing bank for the Visa charged interest on balance due. Amazon refused to resolve by reversing the transaction since they did not fulfill the order, which was done by an outside company. Amazon offered me special financing, but then refused to take responsibility for their mistake.
Spoke to five customer service representatives and 3 Chase Bank representatives over 3 hours, with Amazon finally refusing to "make right" the situation. I am a long-time customer (15 years plus) who averages 10 monthly purchases, but Amazon did not care.
