Amazon in Potton, England - Disgusting behaviour

Amazon decided "FOR MY CONVENIENCE" that I should be an Amazon Prime member and charge me £73 for membership. It was all done very surreptitiously and I only discovered what Amazon had done when I received my bank statement. Such conduct was most unexpected. It was disgusting !

Better interview and screening process for delivery drivers. Don't employ drivers who lack integrity.

Same happened to me! I called and reported it and they filed a complaint with review board, then I got an automated response from the review board stating they carefully reviewed my account and found I was in violation.

Well it was obvious to me that was b.s. and this was a form letter so I replied to it stating: clearly you did NOT carefully review my account because if you had you would see I was innocent and restored my account!!! About 7 days later they replied saying my reviews and privileges were restored. I replied directing them to this site and letting them know this was a huge problem and not isolated.

So don’t give up! You have to complain at least twice before a human gets involved.

Rip off Amazon with their forced prime payments.

I have been forced to pay AMAZON PRIME. I DID NOT GIVE MY PERMISSION TO CALMLY TAKE £79 FROM MY ACCOUNT. IT IS THE SNEAKY WAY THEY DO IT. THIS IS THE SECOND TIME THEY HAVE ADDED THIS TO MY ACCOUNT. I TOLD THEM BEFORE I DO NOT WISH TO JOIN AMAZON PRIME. WHEN ORDERING THEY GIVE NO CHOICE TO HAVE AND PAY FOR AN ORDINARY DELIVERY. THEY JUST FORCE CUSTOMERS TO PAY FOR SOMETHING THEY DO NOT WISH FOR. IT IS JUST SHARP DISHONEST WAY TO DO BUSINESS. WHY DO THEY MAKE IT SO DIFFICULT TO COMPLAIN TO THEM?????? OK SO YOU WANT 100 WORDS, YOUR SHARP PRACTICE WILL EVENTULLY LEAD TO CUSTOMERS LEAVING YOU AND PLACING THEIR ORDERS ELSEWHERE. Amazon delivery driver damaged my property, then pretending not a big issue, as he couldn't Speak English. The only customer complaints is for foreign call centre who fob you off on an 0800 number with promise of escalating but wont take contact details.?????

Whenever you buy, whether from Amazon or elsewhere, it is a good idea to ensure the item is not coming from China or any other foreign origin. It's far too easy to get scammed by out of country retailers.

As you now know. Add that to the probable junk condition of the product and you have more problems than you need.

Ever since they stopped using Collect+ for delivery, prime is no longer a one-day delivery service. The alternatives provided are not even close to collect+. And the third party delivery providers won't accept timing preferences or calling the customer. And the customer service guys are trained liars. All they talk is pre-templated ***. One *** just said he cancelled my prime membership from renewing next year. And when I check it after an hour in my account - it was still on auto-renewal. The guy I spoke to before him said - he added my delivery preferences to the order which was the biggest LIE of the year as another (Supervisor level *** when asked on the next day) was not an option for that order and he don't see any instructions left for the order by the previous fool.

Beware when you order from Amazon.I bought a parker jacket from a seller in China.It was very small and obviously the sizing was wrong.The quality was poor too.I sent it back to Cocooling (the company in China) but they I'd I hadn't received I. I phoned Amazon to complain about money been taken out my bank from the uk and the U.S. for the same thing I phoned and was on the phone from the time I called to the end which was 15 minutes which was not a premium call not to get any joy from Customer services I kept repeating my email address and was read back different ones and just told to ring back as the person could not understand me I said u need this problem resolved he said hang up and call back again I said no put me through to someone else he said there is nobody else there obviously I could hear other people on other lines he kept saying my email is not registered I said it is my email and if it's not that one why iam getting emails off Amazon everyday he was not helpful at all God knows how much my phone call will cost with not being premium
