Account was locked due to suspected fraudulent activity on credit card. Credit card was replaced with a new number by credit card company due to suspected fraudulent activity on card.

Received a new card with a new number and got an email from Amazon about need to submit documentation related to this fraudulent activity. Followed the link on this email and I was asked to submit documentation. What documentation was not explained, I clicked that I did not have documentation and was asked to submit my address and phone number. I was then logged out.

I tried to log in again to get more information. Was not able to do anything else. So I called them. They told me I could submit my credit card statement and copy of my ID for their team to review.

I told them I do not have a statement with the old credit card number, I don't get statements but the app has the new number on the account and I wanted to switch to that new credit card number anyway. I was told until I submit "the documents" my account will remain on hold. I can't talk to anyone about it. They can't give me any more information.

There's no supervisor. I can give them my credit card statement and ID or I cannot access my account, can't use my kindle, my fire stick, or any subscriptions they have charged me for. Can't use my kindle scribe, which doesn't even have the option to purchase anything on it. I will not give them that information so I guess they no longer want any of my business.

After 25 years on the same account as a customer with my whole family sharing this one account. Worst customer service I have ever seen.
