Amazon in Seattle, Washington - Dishonest company
Amazon.com is a dishonest company in the worst possible way. Overcharged for billing error made by Amazon. They refused to take responsibility.

Amazon - Shafted on Prime Membership
I applied for a discounted Amazon Prime membership of 5.99 a month instead of 12.99 a month. Amazon told me that I would be charged 5.99 a month. When I checked a few months later I found I was charged 12.99. I called them and they promised to correct the problem; they did that--for a month. I called them twice since to correct the problem but the last time they said they could not help me. Needless to say I have cancelled my prime membership. If I want any more merchandise I will go to Walmart.
Tried placing order with one click to send to address other than mine, resulting in duplicate order placed. Intended order sent no problem to Michigan. Unintended order sent to my home in Florida -- 2 large cartons. Contacted 3rd party seller (Costzon) within 3 hours...Read more

Amazon - Return shipping is a rip off
Bought a gift for my mother but she already has that item, unfortunately.. I attempted to do a return on Amazon and they want to charge me $5.99 for return shipping. The item is jigsaw puzzle so it weighs nothing.. Charging for return shipping (especially for Prime members) is already ridiculous, and charging that much is highway robbery. It's almost 50% of the price of the product! Disgusting company.
Amazon - Won't Honor purchased Items
Amazon recently cancelled my purchase of Fitbit Versa watch at $89.99 for the reason that they are currently not available. The email stated that the item was on backorder with a ship date of Jan 15th - Feb 6th. Ironically, Fitbit Versa are available to purchase at the full price of $199.99 and it is sold and shipped by Amazon. Talk about a company that does not stand behind their own advertised price online. Clearly Amazon is not aware of the Massachusetts consumer laws.
