inaccurate delivery times
When you look at an item on Amazon it gives a delivery date. After you place the order the date many times slips a day longer. When it gets close to the delivery date, it moves a day or more longer again. This us NOT because of bad weather or any other excuses. It is because they use USPS instead of other package delivery services.
Customer service
So difficult to speak to someone who actually resolves complaints and can answer questions. Filed an insurance claim due to a product injuring my pet and the supervisor could not provide a phone number where I could reach the claim department for the partial refund of my vet bill for the injury it caused. Waited in the phone for 35 minutes with no information or resolution. Absolutely horrible experience all around. Been waiting 11 days for no response and email after email and nothing.
Refund policy
There is a major problem with a third party item sold Thur Amazon which can delay refunds for over 30 days beware of this problem. You make purchases Thur Amazon but the refunds on merchandise from third party seller take up to 30 days for a refund . This type of return policy don't sound like a nice way to refund my money .
Stolen account - Amazon fails to help recover it
I’ve been a loyal Anazon customer for years! I’ve submitted many reviews, been a member of the Vine program, enjoyed doing micro tasks on their mturk platform. Within a matter of hours while I slept someone managed to not only gain access to my account but effectively changed the email and log in information. Everything I’ve spent years building gone in a matter of 4 hours. The emails I received showing these changes have no way to dispute or offer a way to lock the account while you attempt to fix the problem. This was Christmas time and I had orders pending, debit/credit cards on file and this person had access to everything due to some ignored issue in their system. You can’t contact anyone on the app unless you have access to the account and I had to find a phone number to call customer service and while the employee was sympathetic with the situation he said all he could do was give the information to their fraud department and I’d hear from them - I never have. I have all the emails showing these changes that were made, the picture used for the icon is my family… even the name on the account is still my name. It’d be easy to prove that it is my account yet Amazon has no way to fix this sort of issue.
Unfortunately I can’t get into my account and they don’t have a easy way to retrieve my account
I am experiencing difficulties logging into my Amazon account, and unfortunately, there is no available recovery option. This situation is particularly frustrating as I have pending orders that I am unable to access due to the inability to log in. I kindly request that this issue be resolved as soon as possible. It is highly inconvenient to have to navigate this process repeatedly when accessing Amazon services.
