Amazon review: Bait and switch

1.1
Details
I paid for a new compost bin from Amazon. Inside a new good condition box was a completely smashed box with a damaged bin and a partial return label still attached. Amazon agreed to replace the product and assured me that I would not have to be home for it to be picked up. UPS refuses to pick up unattended packages and said I must be at home for UPS from 7am-9pm or pay $11.00 to schedule a pick up. The item is too heavy for me to take to UPS.

Amazon review in Los Angeles, California: Login Harassment

2.8
Details
I am constantly being forced to verify my identity when I login to Amazon.com, or submit my password, multiple times during a browsing session. This constant harassment has caused me simply to not login to the website. Which, is an inconvenience for me, because that does nothing to change the site's behavior. Amazon's website will also quote one price for an item before I login, and a higher price after I've logged in. Why? Because, I am a Prime customer. The higher price covers the cost of that "free shipping" Amazon lies about.

If you want to find out what you did wrong and want a detailed explanation you deserve to know. I see people saying good luck on that reply, Amazon may or may not reply when it suits them if at all etc.

This is actually a fantasy if you live in the EU as they actually have no choice under the GDPR if you request your information. The GDPR part I have pasted here is what I found most relevant but I advice you to google GDPR and read up on the whole law and then request your information afterwards. The GDPR does not specify how to make a valid request. Therefore, an individual can make a subject access request to you verbally or in writing.

It can also be made to any part of your organization (including by social media) and does not have to be to a specific person or contact point. A request does not have to include the phrase 'subject access request' or Article 15 of the GDPR, as long as it is clear that the individual is asking for their own personal data.

So if you require a reply to why they have removed the right to leave reviews they have actually one month to reply not if and when they choose to. To get a complete insight into your rights google GDPR for the full law.

The wonderful thief that Amazon hired to deliver packages cut open my package and stole my hair product (pathetic). The thief drove away very fast when I yelled at he/she as they sped away in a large white pickup truck.
