I just bought 3 skirts through Amazon - seller YiB Industrial, which turned out to be from China of all places. I not only received the wrong color on one of the items but their sizes weren't even CLOSE to their advertised size chart. Tried to return these items - they only want to give me a $7 refund with a return that I pay for... not!!! watch who you buy from on Amazon - if it's foreign.. you probably just pissed your money away - it's usually ill fitting, poorly made and they don't care about customer service. Love Amazon, but I'll watch any future purchases with their sellers.

I ordered an Amazon Kindle because I recently traded mine in so I could order a newer Kindle. When I went to buy it, I found a price that is lower than usual, apparently I later found that it had been a pricing error. I ordered just one Kindle with the lower pricing. After nearly 24 hours and without any notice, my order just disappeared from my order history. I looked around and there are many discussions of people ordering as many as 5 Kindles and having them delivered the same day with Prime Now. We don't live in an area served by Prime Now and I had chosen one day shipping. I am very unhappy that Amazon randomly cancelled my order while many other people were able to buy several. I will be going away from home and had hoped to bring a Kindle to read. I have purchased several hundreds of Kindle books and nearly every version of the Kindle, with the Kindle being my favorite form of recreational reading In an effort to find a way to actually get a Kindle in time before we leave I looked on craigslist and found where many of the extra ordered Kindles have wound up. The listings are full of "new, unopened Kindle PaperWhites" being sold at a profit, while I can't get Amazon to honor the single purchased Kindle that I ordered. I spent over 2 hours trying to remedy the problem both on the phone and through chat, with absolutely no progress.

I have been ordering for years. The first incident happened a year ago when I was not Prime. They took 72 hours just to charge my card, let alone get it fulfilled and packed and shipped! It was blamed on me being non-Prime. In a back-and-forth lengthy email exchange, I was offered a year of Prime for Free (I have it IN WRITING). They rescinded that offer and said that the CSR was out of line and they cannot do that. I therefore paid for the Prime. I sent a certified snail mail letter to them but received nothing in response. Currently, I made an order a week ago and my card was not charged in more than 72 hours!! This is completely unacceptable. This time, they blamed it on my PO Box status. Someone somewhere decided to put it "on the back burner" because PO Boxes take a long time anyways, right? WRONG. I order from a place online once a week, and they charge the card **as soon as you click 'submit order' -- as it SHOULD be!** I then receive a tracking number typically within a few hours. Amazon is so large and so big and they think we cannot do without them, and so they think they can act ***-nilly and without regulation and have draconian and illogical policies and practices without consequence! I cancelled my account and deleted all my credit cards and addresses. It is not easy to find some of the stuff elsewhere, but I will absolutely do so from now on.

In March 2015 I ordered a beautiful sweater through Amazon. Extra Large Ladies Cashmere & Merino wool. pearls attached. it came from HeeGrand in China. It wouldn't fit a child. After many emails back & forth. I was told if I tried to return I, it would probably get lost in mail, because it is a long way to China. And they have the right to resend it. Also suggested I give it to someone as a gift!. At one point they asked what implement we used to measured it. I still have it no one I know is that small.

Amazon review: Simmons Bedding Company Mattress Review from Los Angeles, California

I had an expensive mattress in my cart for $781. I went home and got the credit card I wanted and the item became $791. It's only $10, but the point is, it shouldn't have changed prices in two hours! I contacted Amazon and they said, if you put an item in your cart, they can change it at anytime, until it is purchased! They refused to adjust it to the price it was this am! I'm extremely disappointed. I order a lot from Amazon and I'm normally very happy! Be careful when you order!
