Refund of Money Spent

Original review posted by user Jan 19, 2018

There are third party stores selling under the Amazon name. I ordered a TV signal booster through a third party selling under Amazon and got a phoney tracking number the USPS said DID NOT EXIST.

The tracking number brought up a page that said the item was shipped and on it's way. 3 weeks later nothing! Contacted USPS with tracking number, number did not exist! Contacted Amazon and demanded our money back.

They refunded the money on the bank card within a few days.

If it wasn't for Amazons return and refund policies we would have been ripped off again by internet SCAM companies looking only to rip off consumers. BUT BUYER BEWARE OF THIRD PARTY COMPANIES SELLING UNDER A SUPPOSEDLY REPUTABLE NAME.

Reason of review: third party scam had no intention of sending item Hence IE phoney tracking number sent by third party company..

Monetary Loss: $39.

Amazon Pros: Customer service in general.

Amazon Cons: Third party companies selling under reputable companies, Hird party companies selling under reputable companies.

You stated, “Monetary Loss: $39.” But, in paragraph above, you stated (referring to Amazon), “They refunded the money on the bank card within a few days. If it wasn't for Amazons return and refund policies we would have been ripped off…”

What loss? Sounds like Amazon gets an A+ while they (Amazon) gets stuck for the fraud, not you!
