Amazon Website Review from Huntington, West Virginia

Details
Amazon changed viewing pages on Kindle e-books from 100 pages to 75 pages. I complained about only being able to browse 100 pages instead of being able to view all available products. The site also does not provide a choice in viewing short stories or novels. Their selection categories for romances, especially paranormal romances, are outdated Harlequin subcategories - Romantic themes like beaches, gambling, etc and Romantic heroes like bikers, cowboys, wealthy. The selection categories need to be updated and category seclection for paranormal romances need to fit the genre. The movie site allows viewing of all products, the book site should allow viewing of all products. The parameters on the book site do not allow access to all products on the site. Authors should be protesting this disservice. All sites should provide access to all the products available.

Amazon sucks

They deleted my review: Good to use as topping for Italian dishes Very cheesy tasting yellow sprinkles. Smells great! This was a percentage off so that I could review it. WHY???? I'm to the point now that I don't want to literally write a single word because they will find fault with even one word! I had 2 reviews, now I only have ONE. What is going on with Amazon???? I'm ready to give it up and just never shop there again. As it is I never refer anyone to their website at all ever. I have READ the guidelines and still have no idea how my short review got deleted.

Seems as if Amazon is no longer maintaining accuracy on its website. Many items like paperback books and shoes have prices that are ridiculously overpriced like $390.00 and many other products have prices that appear way beyond inaccurate. Has management decided to...

I have been ordering from Amazon for seveeral years and I have never had a problem that was not quickly resolved to my saisfaction. Is Amazon the least expensive for purchases...sometimes yes, sometimes no. I always do an online price check to see if the item I want is less expensive through another website and usally Amazon is the least expensive. We are Prime members and love the access to tv shows, movies, music, books and videos aside from the 2 day free shipping on most items. Do keep in mind that Amazon often does not stock the items, they are delivered from a 3rd party vendor...you can read the item description and see who is shipping your item. Kudos to Amazon...great products at great prices and sorry to read that some others don't agree with me.

Amazon.com shares your personal customer information

amazon.com shares the personal customer information you provide them in good faith and with the expectation that your personal information will never be shared with anyone. Especially any of its affiliates or associated business partners. Personal information can never be shared with any other business or private parties. This is done by Amazon without customer notification, customer approval, or customer input. The practice of sharing private customer information is illegal and extremely unethical. I will never do business with Amazon or any of its affiliates again. It shocks me that such a large business has to resort to such tactics to grow their business

Coo-surveys is abusing Amazon Turk to fill their mailing lists

2.5

Twice now, I've accepted an Amazon HIT that asks one to go to a site and fill out a form to "just to test that everything works smoothly before we release it." It claims that you must use your real information because it's testing the ability of the software to distinguish between real and fake information. You're supposed to fill out a page or so and then get to a sentence that reads "Coke and Pepsi are now ******* " and fill in what it says in the stars to complete the HIT. But you never get to such a page. What you HAVE ended up doing is genuinely signed up for their site and all their "offers," in violation of Turk policy by "requiring disclosure of the Worker's identity or e-mail address, either directly or indirectly" and "requiring registration at another website or group." I have reported them multiple times to Amazon, yet they continue to re-post essentially the same HIT.

Amazon - Woodwind & Brasswind would not honor agreed to price and confirmed sale

This is a very disreputable company. I purchased a keyboard and power adapter from them at a good sale price. I had many vendor choices available to choose from, all at the same sale price. I choose this company because their website seemed nice and quite frankly, it was the first to appear in my internet search results. I should have read the reviews already posted to the internet first. They gladly took my order and immediately sent out and billed me for the adapter. The keyboard was on back order. A couple days after billing me for the adapter, they CANCELLED my order for the keyboard without ANY explanation. When I called them, they told me the unit was no longer in production. This was a blatant lie. First, an item no longer being in production doesn't mean that it drops off the face of the earth the next day. It would take considerable time for the the already manufactured supply to be exhausted. Second, this same unit is still available elsewhere on the internet (I guess they didn't get the memo that it isn't in production anymore). The only thing is, it is now being sold at $50 or more elsewhere. The sales are now over. This company CLEARLY decided that they could sell the unit I purchased for much more than they contracted with me to sell it for. Then they even tried to get me to buy something else that was more expensive from them. ARE THEY KIDDING???? Now I am stuck with an useless adapter that I had to pay for. What frauds they are!! Beware when dealing with them....go elswehere.... AS AN UPDATE...the product they told me is no longer available (that's why they had to cancel my order) is now again listed on their website as available soon...but now for $30 more than what they agreed to sell it to me for. DO YOU REALLY WANT TO DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE???

Amazon Associates will steal your money before two month Payout!

1.0
Details
Amazon associates is a ripoff and will steal your money. Amazon stole over $6k from me this year in 2014 because someone reported my website saying the marketing technique I was using was against Amazon's terms and conditions. They also stole over $1.5k from a family member of mine that was promoting Amazon to earn money for the college education of his son. Amazon pays out its affiliates every two months which gives them enough time to monitor your earnings and whack you, stealing your money and putting you out of business for no reason, and for this I suggest nobody promote Amazon in the future. This tactic of stealing people's money/traffic is illegal and the reason why they continue to allow you to login to your account is for reporting reasons. Here are the actions I took against Amazon to get my money. Because of Amazon'a arbitration agreement you can't sue them but if they ignore the arbitration request like they did with me, then you can bring a law suit against them for the funds they owe you. In my case the website was not illegal and did not violate any of the terms and conditions. Bringing a General Civil claim against them for the maximum amount sure got their attention when their lawyer called me asking me what I wanted. I told her we no longer have to be in business with each other but pay me what you owe me, she said and I quote "I'll look into it", then never called me back. I waited two months then sent a registered letter to their registered business agent "Corporation Service Company" letting them know I would proceed with filing a request for relief against them if they did not respond in 30 days. Amazon never responded to my request for relief so I then filed the claim in my city where I live, and you can do this too. Amazon never responded to the claim and never showed up to court and I was automatically awarded a judgement in the amount of $25,000. Your limits may be different where you live but you can indeed get your money and walk away a winner with these people. Please make sure you document every phone call, record the phone calls, keep a file of your Amazon earnings so that you have proof in court that you were scammed by Amazon Associates. Amazon Associates is stealing money from millions of affiliates by shutting down the accounts before the first payout. When creating an Amazon Associates account, I high recommend you wait two months before you start sending them traffic else you may lose every bit of earnings you make to these people. Amazon Associates = SCAM! The funny part is, I made 6k a month for over 3 years with the very website they claimed was illegal. The reason why Amazon does this to it's affiliates is because simply put, "they can". Why payout the big money to earning affiliates or associates when you have 10 million other people just starting promoting from scratch and making nothing. A good example would be: If John is running a website, and on the site he promotes TV's, and he earns 5k a month, it's in Amazon's best interest to whack John's account because Billy promoting the same tv's on another website hasn't made anything yet. To make a long story short, In 2014 I was on my way of making over 20k for the year. I'll show you a screen shot of my earnings for proof. I was sending Amazon over 60k a month in sales and they didn't appreciate my business. They saw fit to steal my money and my family's money, and worst of all prevent my nephew from getting a college education because all the money that was raised was going for him.
