Amazon - Charged $2700 for a $200 tripod

I ordered the Vixen Optics SXD2 mount from Amazon for $2699. As I write this, they show 1 in stock. That is not true. I ordered the mount last week when they showed 2 in stock. The order should consist of 2 boxes...one weighing 15.4 pounds with the tripod, the other weighing 43 pounds with the mount itself. I was shipped ONLY the 15.4-pound tripod box...and that box had been opened so it was apparently a returned item which was sold as new. The mount was NEVER shipped. When I spoke with customer service, they promised a complete new 2-box order would be shipped that day and arrive two days later. On the day I should have received the replacement order, I instead receive an email stating it will be 4-6 weeks...which is strange since the website still lists one as being in stock several days later. I immediately cancelled the order and ordered it elsewhere. Bottom line: Amazon charged my credit card $2699 for a $200 tripod and now refuses to issue any kind of credit to my card until they receive the tripod back, which is already in the hands of UPS. I ended up ordering the mount through Adorama...and DID NOT go through Amazon. The entire order (two boxes) was shipped the same day. I will never order another high-end item from Amazon. Amazon's customer service reps seem to be trained to repeat, over and over, "I understand"...when they clearly do not. Insert a product link

Amazon Ripped me Off

I recently bought a code for Xbox live for a 3 month subscription and it did not work. I tried to get a refund but Amazon would not allow me to refund my purchase I was out $25.00. I am no longer going to buy codes for games on there services because now I now it is a lost customer. Well Amazon does not care if you have bought a fake Product all they care about is making money. Well because of this stunt that you not refund me I will no longer shop on amazon website good day.

Amazon REFUSES to return defective Nikon camera.

Purchased a Nikon camera on Oct. 22, 2013 for dermatologist office. The camera is defective and leaves black spots in the pictures. Filed to return camera on Nov. 19, 2013 which on Amazon return website for this camera was the last day to file a return. I have the confirmation e-mail from AMAZON about this filing. On Nov. 27, still not received the RGA and filed a complaint which is what they instruct to do. NOW Amazon says that per the POLICY we only had 10 days to file return, NOT TRUE. AND they claim I didn't file return until NOV. 27, 2013, the date that I filed the COMPLAINT. I have sent them the e-mails etc. and they refuse to acknowledge their own e-mails. ALSO the Video & Audio Center who sent the DEFECTIVE camera states that they only have a 10 policy. This is all DECEPTIVE business Practice and THEFT!

Amazon - Wrong Order

I have just recently bought a book (cost me over 200 dollars) from Amazon website but sadly it arrived with a wrong edition (cover page was totally different from what I have ordered). I am asking for your kind assistance to review the following seller, any book, as their service rendered has been very disatisfactory and extremely slow. The seller responded very slowly and kept insisting for me to buy the book but it was a wrong edition (published in the 1980s). I would like to request a full refund of the order and an immediate action on this but nothing was done. I hope Amazon will have a firm regulations set on your seller that they should be giving books in accordance to what was ordered and not whatever they have in stock. I am losing faith to buy books from Amazon and if this matter is not rectify, I guess I will stop buying any more books from Amazon. A very distressed customer Susan Ong

Amazon - THIS COMPANY IS INCOMPETENT

I ordered 2 frames as christmas gifts on Amazon in late November. I received both frames in 1 box in early december. BOTH frames were completely shattered. The incompetent person who packaged them did not wrap them in bubble wrap so obviously the glass was completely shattered. I immediately taped the box back up and sent it back to Amazon the next day. In the next fews days I am refunded the money for my return. OVER A MONTH LATER I get charged for 1 of the frames because Amazon claims I only returned one. THIS IS IMPOSSIBLE considering they were both in the same box and I didnt even touch them. (why the *** would I keep 1 shattered frame?) So not only did this company screw me over by sending me products that were completely broken beyond recognition but then they have the audacity to mess up again and charge me for it!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Before this I used Amazon quite often! WILL NEVER go on this god awful website. This company must be run by the most incompetent creatures on earth. (and yeah its only $8 but its not fair!!! I do not owe this company any money! they should be paying me for ruining my christmas shopping and then making me pay for it!)
