While I can see you being upset, to say that your daughter's Christmas gift was reduced to "an I Love You" gift. Really?

She didn't understand that it was supposed to be a surprise for Christmas? And "Merry Christmas, honey!" was just not good enough? BTW...a list of synonyms for atrocious: brutal, barbaric, barbarous, savage, vicious, beastly

Oh my!

I truly understand that you were disappointed about the packaging, but do you think your daughter was traumatized as much as you? I do empathize, but I think you made it a bigger deal than it was.

Amazon in Denver, Colorado - Paid order never seen

I ordered and paid small package from Amazon. After 3 weeks I did not receive anything, even I m Prime member. I have to investigate and talk to shipping companies over phone and in person multi times and find out no answer - either no package. Amazon was so "great" they offered me return money and if I like to receive my package, I have to repeat myself whole process and place new order again... ;( I m do not think I like to spend my next 3 weeks again with same ***. Amazon was not able just fix it and resend original order even after phone conversation...!!!???

Amazon took my money and failed to delivery the items in their listing. The listing clearly showed a 10 count box,(see screen shot), and they sent 1. I contacted Amazon 2x over the missing 9 items. The first call was nice and Mohamed attempted to resend. Again only 1 was shipped. Now I have 2 and I'm missing 8. Again I contact Amazon customer service, this time it was Adam, and relay the same issue. Adam was less than helpful when pressed to fulfill my purchase. He finally said it was under review and they wouldn't honor the price. It was just..... here's a refund, now go away, and he then hung up on me. The whole experience left a major feeling of distrust towards Amazon. I buy and sell a lot on the internet. I mean I really buy and sell a lot on the internet, hundreds of items, I have purchased a $40k car from out of state. I'm not a rookie when doing business via the internet. I want to believe that my expectations on internet purchasing are balanced. So at this point I can't think of a reason to ever need to do business again with a company like Amazon

I placed an order as an Amazon Prime member on 10/17/16 and choose the 2 day free shipping option. As of today 10/19/16 at 10:35 pm no order has been received, despite the indication on the website which still reflects delivery but 8pm 10/19/16. I contacted customer service who advised that this "may" be a glitch and that they were unable to resolve the issue or advise when I would receive my package guaranteed for delivery 10/19/16 at 8pm. I requested a supervisor, and after a hold time the representative returned to the line with a proposed resolution. I was advised that I could be credited the total cost of my item to place a new order for which shipping could be expedited. After receiving the credit and placing the order, the representative advised that there was no option to expedite the shipping despite the previous promise much like that of the original guaranteed shipping. The representative went on to advise that if this package also doesn't arrive they would then take other routes to resolution. So after waiting for my guaranteed shipment, and not receiving it I was asked to continue to wait and hopefully recieve my item. The representative advised that I could keep both items, as some sort of consolation. I again asked to speak with a supervisor. When the member of the management team came on the line he proceeded to advise that my original shipment had been lost in transit. After 40 minutes on the telephone I was given totally different information than that of the previous representative. I asked how this was possible and the supervisor stated he had more acces than that of the representative. I advised that I expected much more from a company with such a good reputation, a company whom I pay monthly to have perks such as free two day shipping. I asked for a formal complaint process, and was advised that there is no process outside of complaining against the representatives, and therefore prompting coaching. The supervisor processed a refund, and advised that even this would take 3-5 days. Though I appreciate the refund, receipt of my item would have been significantly better. This complaint is to advise other prime members, that Amazon.com's guaranteed shipping is no guarantee at all, nor can we go on the word of their customer service and supervisory agents.

I ordered a7inch Kindle fire with 32mg of gig and 30day trial for prime membership and I was suppose to get next or two day shipping order on 09/18/2016 for first oder and when I did not get order by wensday 09/21/2016 then I called them and asked am I suppose to get order in two day,s and the rep said yes she didn't, no why and she said she would cancel the first oder and all I had to do is to reoder she will said it was not going to recharge my card and she would call back in a hour for me to reorder because she cancel the first order so I can get the new order the next day. The rep called back and asked did I have money on my card and I told her no I only had 55cent because the$53.49 was still in pending because of the first payment which was held up so the rep mess me up and ran my card six or seven more times. Call headquarter,s and the rep two told me to quit call because I,m wasting my time because the bank was at fault when it was the rep who mess me up by canceling the fisrt order. So went in my email like the other rep told me to do to go to my Amazon account through my email so that worked and order got back on track because the rep said he can see the payment so the billing have to do it manually so this rep knew what he was talking about was happy because it said I would get my product on Sunday the 25, 2016 signed back in last night on Amazon to make sure everything was fine but the account was telling me I needed to change my payment so called again and the rep said to cancel this order and let the money go back on my card in five day,s so that,s what I did because I,m tired of three day,s and nothing still not getting done some gave me the money to be able to get what ever I wanted because do to social security stopping my check for seventeen month,s now I can,t take to much. This is not fare and I should get some type of credit for all my trouble,s. My phone# is 727-270-1136

Luis G a CS manager offers me a $10 account credit for allowing me to wait 5 days for a VERY important part to my dryer to be sent using two day shipping! I called into the Amazon customer service department because for days the unit showed not yet shipped but had a delivery date for 8/10/16. I knew there was NO WAY it would arrive tomorrow when it still hasn't shipped and call after call after call I'm advised "ma'am it's coming as your online account shows" finally I get a representative that says "ma'am that part is out of stock and it will ship by maybe the 17th"! This is horrible and the rude smug supervisor Luis gets on the line and offers me a $10 credit. When I advised that was offensive considering now I have to order the part from the manufacture and pay more for next day shipping than I was paying for the part via Amazon using my prime "benefits" he says "is there anything else I can help you with" and disconnected the call while I was speaking. Amazons mistake is costing me over $200 with expedited shipping which if they would told me FIVE DAYS AND THREE CALLS AGO that the part was OOS I could have went to the manufacture and paid $12 for two day now I'm paying $79 for over night We have a child with special needs that is also a bed wetter this long without a dryer has been rough, then the horrible treatment we received from Amazon and topped off with having to pay double for the part now is the worst part!

Amazon used to be a decent company to do business with, no more. I ordered an air conditioner from them which didn't work, I was told they would send one next day which was Friday no air conditioner was sent and I have serious health issues and MUST have air conditioning. Saturday the temperature got into the 90s and I almost didn't get through it. I was promised that it would arrive on Monday guaranteed. Monday no air conditioner. I called customer service again and was told it would arrive next day, I told them if it didn't I was canceling my order and wanted a full refund. Tuesday no air conditioner. I called and demanded a refund which was issued but will take a week or more to clear. With a heat wave on the way I had to borrow money to get an air conditioner locally. I expected some sort of consideration for my inconvenience yet none was given. I could not believe it! After all I'd been through I get nothing but an apology for my inconvenience. Inconvenience? More like an ordeal! This is not the customer experience I expect from this company. They have gone dramatically downhill over the years and I am not going to do business with them in the future because of this reason. They no longer treat their customers with respect.

Anytime I contact amazon customer service I do it through their online chat because then I have an exact written record of what happened and I usually get through on chat right away.
