In an email they ask me to review my purchases (9 or so). All were good, except one--they refused to post the bad experience.

The problem was simple, and here's what I wrote:

...from Amazon Customer on March 13, 2018: ____________

"Missing parts--was previously purchased/returned. Booo!

Couldn't use it. Came with missing part (taped up like a previous return--that's bad management. Returned and reimbursed as expected. Tried to order another one, but they jacked the price up $2. NO WAY! Bought same product from another company (the product is sound). Amazon did not express any concern for my situation or follow-up on the complaint I filed when I returned it. OH WELL?"

______________

Maybe I was harsh (?), but I couldn't spray my trees on time while dormant (I purchased a sprayer). I never received so much as a "we apologize..." All I wanted to do was alert the public about the company they used to provide me the faulty product. Their explanation for not posting my comments was as follows:

"Your review could not be posted.

Thanks for submitting a customer review on Amazon. Your review could not be posted to the website in its current form. While we appreciate your time and comments, reviews must adhere to the following guidelines:

http://www.amazon.com/review-guidelines "

Tried to go back to repost--item and option to repost had dissappeared. Could not redo it.

In those guidelines, I fail to see where I made a material violation:

"We encourage you to revise your review and submit it again. A few common issues to keep in mind:

โ€ขYour review should focus on specific features of the product and your experience with it. [DONE]

โ€ขFeedback on the seller or your shipment experience should be provided at www.amazon.com/feedback. [SUGGESTED BAD MANAGEMENT?]

โ€ขWe do not allow profane or obscene content. This applies to adult products too. [N/A]

โ€ขAdvertisements, promotional material or repeated posts that make the same point excessively are considered spam. [N/A]

โ€ขPlease do not include URLs external to Amazon or personally identifiable content in your review." [N/A]

I think it reveals the real indifference the company has now regarding customer satisfaction. They are protecting their suppliers--not the customer. In fact, to refuse my post is dishonest (and cowardly).

Reason of review: Poor customer service.

Amazon Cons: No consequences for sellers, Terrible waste of my time, Product defective-could not get another at same price, Knowingly selling previously returned product, Refused to post my complaint on amazon.

They did the same thing to me. They sold me a substitute for the product I ordered and got away with doing so by having the words "packaging may vary" on the sales page.

What I received was not just a different package, but a different product with a different consistency and a different name.

When I said "Not what I ordered. Not happy" on my review I got the same letter you received, although I'm sure I didn't violate any policies.

I have posted what could be considered negative reviews and they were published. I was to the point, was not overly derogatory and just explained why I gave a lower rating.I think a lot depends on how something is written. People can be giving a negative review but it needs to be stated in an adult manner.
