I haven't ordered anything from Amazon from over a year because the last time I did, they decided I wanted a Prime account without my authorization and charged me fraudulently. After a big battle I was refunded.

Now a year later I decided I'd try again and they did the same thing. I've just noticed that a recurring charge showed up on my bank statement about a month and a half after I placed the order with them for a Prime membership. Their explanation is that another the charge originated from another account and was erroneously charged to my debit card. How stupid do they think we are?

How much money are they scamming from people who don't pay attention to their finances? I believe a class action suit is in order here.
