I recently purchased a special edition PS4, and less than 2 days later the price has dropped by $30 for prime members (which I am). The item hasn't even been delivered to me yet, and Amazon has refused to issue a partial refund. I'm highly disappointed with the customer service department and policies, especially for such a drastic change in price. Definitely considering cancelling my prime membership.

I have been ordering for years. The first incident happened a year ago when I was not Prime. They took 72 hours just to charge my card, let alone get it fulfilled and packed and shipped! It was blamed on me being non-Prime. In a back-and-forth lengthy email exchange, I was offered a year of Prime for Free (I have it IN WRITING). They rescinded that offer and said that the CSR was out of line and they cannot do that. I therefore paid for the Prime. I sent a certified snail mail letter to them but received nothing in response. Currently, I made an order a week ago and my card was not charged in more than 72 hours!! This is completely unacceptable. This time, they blamed it on my PO Box status. Someone somewhere decided to put it "on the back burner" because PO Boxes take a long time anyways, right? WRONG. I order from a place online once a week, and they charge the card **as soon as you click 'submit order' -- as it SHOULD be!** I then receive a tracking number typically within a few hours. Amazon is so large and so big and they think we cannot do without them, and so they think they can act ***-nilly and without regulation and have draconian and illogical policies and practices without consequence! I cancelled my account and deleted all my credit cards and addresses. It is not easy to find some of the stuff elsewhere, but I will absolutely do so from now on.

I signed up for Amazon Prime so we could have access to the videos in January 2016. I was billed a total of $107.00 in January but was billed again in March. I could not find a way to discuss this problem and seemed to be going in circles on their website. So I contacted Bang of American and they removed one of the charges. However, the next day I no longer have access to any of the videos. A message on Amazon says I no longer have an Amazon Prime account. Again I seem to go in circles trying to resolve this on their website and can not find another method of contact. They act like a Nigerian run scam company. Any advice anyone?

Rip off Amazon with their forced prime payments.

I have been forced to pay AMAZON PRIME. I DID NOT GIVE MY PERMISSION TO CALMLY TAKE £79 FROM MY ACCOUNT. IT IS THE SNEAKY WAY THEY DO IT. THIS IS THE SECOND TIME THEY HAVE ADDED THIS TO MY ACCOUNT. I TOLD THEM BEFORE I DO NOT WISH TO JOIN AMAZON PRIME. WHEN ORDERING THEY GIVE NO CHOICE TO HAVE AND PAY FOR AN ORDINARY DELIVERY. THEY JUST FORCE CUSTOMERS TO PAY FOR SOMETHING THEY DO NOT WISH FOR. IT IS JUST SHARP DISHONEST WAY TO DO BUSINESS. WHY DO THEY MAKE IT SO DIFFICULT TO COMPLAIN TO THEM?????? OK SO YOU WANT 100 WORDS, YOUR SHARP PRACTICE WILL EVENTULLY LEAD TO CUSTOMERS LEAVING YOU AND PLACING THEIR ORDERS ELSEWHERE. WHY IS IT IMPOSSIBLE TO OBTAIN A TELEPHONE NUMBER FROM YOU FOR COMPLAINTS ?????

It's glaringly apparent the outsourced and so called "Customer Service Reps" (CSR) barely graduated middle school at this company. A month ago, I ordered an item for $10.00 and I was also charged a whopping $105.93 without warning. I tried to explain this to their CSR only to hear, "Oh umm ok ahh well maybe ahh umm." I then requested a refund-only to hear the same mumbling. I told the CSR I would resolve the matter on my own and ended the call.

Out of sudden 3 weeks ago my debit card was charged for an amazon prime membership despite the fact I had never submitted to amazon prime! It is good that I notice this from my bank statement, so that I canceled it right away, and they say they are going to refund in 2-3 days (it better be true). Whatever, but taking 49 dollars from your customer account for a try-out service that he/she doesn't want is super deceptive and cheap Amazon. I hate this kind of business scheme, and they should be ashamed as they are a *** big and good company.

I have had nothing but problems with amazon, I purchased an Item some time back and now my credit card is on file w/ them, can't get the card out of there system, and have check the boxes don't use my credit card with out my ok , they just charged me for a prime membership I didn't want on an credit card that was not to be used at all, by there own records shows that they weren't to use the credit card, they say there refunding the membership in full now that I caught them with there hand in the cookie jar, makes there bottom line look better to charge everyone an membership even if they have to refund it back, there stock holder report in the mean time sure looks better for there stock holders report.

Signed up for a free trial of Amazon Prime a year ago, not knowing I would be charged a membership fee at the end. Probably am oversight on my part so I let it go. I KNOW I clicked an option to NOT automatically renew my subscription. But guess what... They did anyway, and overdrafted my checking account. Getting the money from Amazon refunded was easy but now I have overdraft fees to pay. Prime is NOT worth the cost. Their streaming service doesn't have anything worth watching on it.
