New ReviewerAmazon lock my account for no reason Lock my gift card up for no reason. While speaking to customer service they are not able to resolve any issue its always ongoing. I spoke to Irma and she just said the same thing others has been saying for a whole week just wait 24hours.
User's recommendation: Beware when ordering through Amazon they will lock all information and there’s no one that you can actually speak to in regards. It’s like pulling with them.
Monetary Loss: $50.
Preferred solution: Deliver product or service ordered.

Amazon locked my account and took $127 left on my gift card. Is this the way they make their money.
I am basically poor. 71 years old. They ask me to name my last 3 purchases. I could Only remember one.
This was not good enough so they want unlock my account.

Every time I try to order anything off Amazon it's like on dealing with Walmart it's a bicker and fighting they want you to pay an arm and a leg Amazon does for item that you can go to the store and get they want outrageous shipping is shipping for a chair is outrageous I was going to order some patio furniture shipping was outrageous you can't buy anything without having some outrageous pricing and ignorant people representing that you talk to on the phone nasty so they don't care if they get any business or not I don't really care to deal with them they're a bad business bad Business Amazon is

My experience with Amazon has been the opposite. Their phone associates are very helpful and always document our conversations via email. I am very satisfied with Amazon!
You've got to go straight to a manager! I've lots of problems lately and ended up have to do this to get resolution
Amazon did me wrong they promised me a 100.00 gift card, but for Apple iPhone when I told them I didn't own a iPhone they took it back and hung up on me after being on the phone with them for more than 45 minutes. That's not cool at all.
They say they will give you 50% off when you use your EBT CARD PROGRAM AND THEN THEY CHARGE YOU 14.99 I EVEN SEND THEM PHOTO OF MY EBT CARD FOR NOTHING.

Corporate customer service is scripted. Don’t blame the person on the line, totally out of their control.
100 percent true.Amazon also locked me and my mothers account for using a gift card that was valid.They do nothing to help and its been months.Hope this site gets sued big time.Discrimination and money hungry site.
