I purchased an HP laptop from Amazon through their seller, ValueShop. Laptop went dead on me 17 days after receiving it. It won't turn on, at all. It's a worthless piece of metal, useless in every way. When I requested a refund, ValueShop refused saying I didn't request my refund in 14 days. That's their total warranty period.

I filed an A-Z claim but Amazon sided with the seller and denied my claim. I have a defective product that is now worthless and Amazon refuses to help me get what I paid for. They also claimed that I only had 14 days to find out the defect.

So they took my money and then refused to make sure that I got what I paid them for. I've just had $400 taken from me and then they ran like *** leaving me victimized by unethical people who have no desire to see that I got what I paid for.

I'm left with nothing for my $400 donation to their crime spree.

Reason of review: Damaged or defective.

Monetary Loss: $400.

Preferred solution: Full refund.

Amazon Cons: Unethical practices.
