Amazon - Bait and switch

Details
I paid for a new compost bin from Amazon. Inside a new good condition box was a completely smashed box with a damaged bin and a partial return label still attached. Amazon agreed to replace the product and assured me that I would not have to be home for it to be picked up. UPS refuses to pick up unattended packages and said I must be at home for UPS from 7am-9pm or pay $11.00 to schedule a pick up. The item is too heavy for me to take to UPS.

They do keep on file all credit cards that you have used in the past. I learned this by accident when a purchase I ordered was placed before I could enter the card I wanted to use.

What I did was remove all credit cards from my account. Enter the card I want to use when placing an order. Remove the card 24-48 hours after order has been confirmed.

I do not like my card information on file. This procedure helps me manage my acvount.

Amazon in Kenner, Louisiana - Refunds hard to receive on closed bank account

Amazon - Lost product, no tracking, late deliveries of other products in orders

I had a product to be delivered in 1 business day for a special occasion - I live in Los Angeles -- can't be that hard to get things in Metro area delivered. All of the items came LATE, except 1 -- which is now lost. They provide fake tracking numbers! When I chat -- I get no answers -- only that we switched tracking #'s, but cannot give them to you. When I call, they say they cannot find that they even changed tracking numbers. WTF
