Amazon - Delayed delivery - No cimmunication

Hi, I am a customer writing from India. I am referring to the above order which contained 1) Kindle Paperwhite Wi-Fi 2) L'oreal Paris Kajal Magique (Black) We have received the order #2 but we still await the order of the Kindle paper white to be delivered to us. On contacting the customer care , the executive informed that due to heavy volume the delivery is delayed. Ok, I understand that there are unforeseen delays, but as a customer we should have been well informed about the delay. The product was committed to be delivered to us by 14th October, but now the customer care informed us that the product is delayed and shall be delivered on 17- 18th October. This is the 2nd time we are facing such an issue and we are upset about it. Hope fully our feedback is looked into and considered. Thanks and Regards Narayan Krishnan/ Vidya Krishnan

Amazon and Vendor Charged Expedite Fee But No Expedite

On May 29, 2013 I ordered from an Amazon Vendor and paid an expedite fee for quit delivery. I afterwards learned from the vendor that they did not offer expedited delivery. The delivery estimate was up to (12) days. Amazon offered and allowed me to pay for an expedite. Why was this allowed? Amazon's response was that the problem was because their vendor was not obligated to ship for (2)days and that was normal policy. The vendor blamed Amazon for giving inaccurate information. Perhaps Amazon needs to make their policies and vendor policies more clear. This is not the way to take care of a customer. I have requested a reimbursement for the expedite fee, but have not received a response. I also emailed the CEO, Jeff Bezos @ jeff@amazon.com.
