Amazon - MISLEADING PRODUCT

misleading "high rated comments." Because of my severe arthritis I was looking for something to carry my groceries. Based on the "outstanding reviews" on the Lumex RJ4700R Set n' Go Height Adjustable Rollator I ordered this product. The first, and only thing, I checked was the size of the pouch, below the seat. This is not a pouch, it's more like a coin purse made of very thin plastic. I find that the picture & the comments are not accurate. Also, the carton has a flimsy plastic handle (more like a piece of scotch tape) which broke when I pulled it from the packaging box. I emailed the co. and requested a refund for the above reasons. I rec'd a reply which says in part: "Your RA # is being processed by Graham Field which takes anywhere from 2-3 business days, and they do have a 25% restocking fee." I emailed them back regarding this fee and that I threw the box to the garbage where it belongs. This item is very heavy and I don't see how a senior or someone with severe arthritis, like me, could possibly lift it, put it in a car or push it. It appears that the numerous complaints against Amazon and its outside vendors are accurate.

Having said that there should be some fairness for the sellers as well. I agree Amazon is a terrible company. I've heard a lot of horror stories with employees were in there as well. The prime membership stuff for buyers I agree Amazon is a terrible company.

What's really going on is legitimate pharmaceutical companies in the US like Vox, to name one but there are other, are manufacturing supplements and beauty products and then offering to private label them for people who want to market them to make money. The variety of labels for each company you see are simply marketing companies selling legitimate supplements that are made in a US FDA inspected facility.

The reason many look similar is they are similar. They are made in the same place, and the designers at the pharmaceutical companies also are designing custom labels for the marketing companies that meet FDA guidelines.

The way the various marketing companies complete against each other is by offering the product at a discounted price to people to try out and then review through companies like AMZ Review Trader, to name one. The more reviews they get, the higher they appear in Amazon's search results.

It's really just a game between marketing companies all selling very similar to identical products and competing against each other for sales.

Some of the competitors will write negative reviews about their rivals too to make them look bad to try to steal their sales.

DO not buy from them on Amazon - CHEAP products and won't let you return OR refund money!!!! They insist on pictures of the product - again if you don't like it you can't return it - it has to be broken - and even then they go back & forth via email and still won't refund. I've never had a return issue on Amazon until buying this $10 product that they are fighting me to return and refund. It's the worst experience I've had on Amazon and Amazon should think twice about selling their products

I used a $100 gift card for a order..it went through and they took the funds from my checking account as well..they agreed that they saw the error on their end..refuse to credit monies back..wanted me to mail items back first...I am beyond furious ..I believe it is a scam..they are hoping you order again with them ..they said I still had a $100 balance on the gift card... I want my checking account credited ..very shady...no help at all.

smooff cushions are sold all over the internet. They are produced by a Chinese company called YiWu Cary Case and Bag Co Ltd, but are sold on eBay, Amazon and many more retail sites. The materials used for these cushions is very shiny and appealing and therefor sold easily but the material will rot away within a year when exposed to sun or some wet clothes. And that is how most people use them. In the garden or on the beach. The pictures below are from cushions less then one year old. Any complaints with the factory are ignored. This is a hit and run scam. The product is totally useless and buyers are mislead by the colorfull shiny appearances. Do not buy these products. Spend your money on better quality products.

I went on Amazon to look for some type of protection due to the fact that a lot of crazy things been going on where I live. I talked to a guy & he was telling me about the 2 Day shipping. I wasn't in a rush but he talked me into it. A month later, $99 was taken out of my account! I went through my transactions & it says Amazon Prime Membership. I immediately called them & told them I want my money back, I didn't give you permission to take money out of my account, & why they didn't discuss this with me before. They canceled my membership & gave me my money back. The next day, its gone again & guess who takes it.... AMAZON!! If this continue's to happen, I will sue them !

Maybe you should READ WHAT YOU ARE AGREEING TO BEFORE YOU SIGN UP! It clearly states you will be charged for the entire membership if you do not cancel your free trial. Own up to your error instead of blaming everyone else.

Friday, Dec 4 was suppose to receive 2 zero gravity lounge chairs from Amazon by 8:30 that evening, when the chairs did not come, I called Amazon they said the shipment was lost. They took the money off my debt card and I had no chairs or money, money was taken off earlier that day, so now it is Dec. 16 and still no money from Amazon put back on my card. One pissed off person, will never order from them again.

This is regards to my latest order with Amazon- I have a complaint about how you are trying to trap the buyers- I had placed this order and on checkout I was shown this message- "YOUR COST WOULD BE 52$ INSTEAD OF 82$. If you apply for Amazon Rewards Visa Card Now and you'll get an Instant 30$ off." Now if you understand it in english that means your current order will be 30$ off when you apply for the card. And I fell into the trap, I did apply, it opened up a a pop-up it discounted me 30$ dollar but When I came back to my main screen, My order was still pending and of 82$ not 52$. I placed it to try and see if I get an ""INSTANT"" 30$ off. Which from what I understood by now that you'll get only when you buy your second order, you can use that 30$ card later not an ""INSTANT"" off as they mislead you. My concern is why is misleading language used on checkouts. Why is that ""INSTANT"" off. And I really don't want this card now. You can keep it. I contacted Chase but they say they don't cancel once applied.They even had a hard inquiry on my credit score which effects my score badly. I am really really not satisfied with this way. Please stop misleading and let me know how do I cancel my Visa card application without my Credit score being effected. And When I call Amazon care they say Chase will give 30$ off. Chase say they don't do it, Amazon pays you gift card. What a fraud. They won't cancel your card, won't give you off. What a poor way of earning money and business. I'd rather stick to other online stores. Thanks amazon for forcing this card on me for nothing.

Amazon - Apex Media Screwed Me Over

I ordered a (rental) review textbook from Apex media two weeks before my exam. I paid for two day shipping. 9 Days later it still had not arrived. I checked the order status on Amazon and it still hadn't shipped, though it showed that I was being charged for two day shipping. Its estimated delivery time was three days after my exam. I cancelled the order and it did not give me a chance to review Apex on Amazon afterwards so I came here. I was counting on the book to help me prepare for the exam and kept shifting my priorities to accommodate the delay. This is absolutely unacceptable. They ought to compensate me for my reliance on their promise to deliver in two days. I hate Apex now, and hope they go bankrupt and the employees responsible for the awful service I experienced find themselves jobless and eventually homeless. Apex messed up my whole semester.

Amazon - Damaged first mattress, second one is lost currently

Ordered mattress of Amazon, first one came in the expected time (7-14 days) with two forklift puncture holes through the box spring bottom. After rejecting it get a call from amazon the next day saying that they will send me the replacement but only after it is in stock again (it was on backorder I believe Fast-forward another three weeks it never arrives, and upon calling Amazon was listed as 'successfully delivered'. So now I'm not really sure where it is, but I do know I'm going to get my money back.

I placed my order with this company and 2 others, 3 days ago. I just checked my bank statement online, and it stated that there were 3 new additional charges pending for a dating service! A dating service! I have no interest in dating, nor will I ever! I have to cancel my debit card, and get these three new charges off of my record. So cyber buyers beware! Amazon, B&H Photo Video, and definitely Light in the Box (all with .com), one of these websites is not secure! Please use some other method of paying for purchases. This is the first and last time that this will happen to me. Someone is a fraud!!

I recently purchased a bassinet on amazon that said there was 3 left in stock. After paying for I receive an email 8 hours later stating that it was not in stock. I called customer service at amazon that was an absolute nightmare. They did not do anything to rectify the situation. I was stolen from and unfortunately I have done everything I can to get my money back, but all amazon does is give me the run around. I will never use amazon ever again.

Not sure how you could lose your money---unless you were foolish enough to use a debit card. With a credit card, all you do is dispute the charge, etc.

Now you know. This is how we learn.
