Amazon - Delivery is under my expectation

I purchase two items on Oct. 13. They were said to be delivered by 8 pm Oct. 15. They didn't come. I tracked the package and saw the message "...Sorry for the delay in delivery due to arrival at incorrect carrier facility at Dayton Ohio," (to that effect) and "... If it hasn’t arrived by Wednesday, Oct 18, please come back for more options." I have to wait up to 3 more days to be able to take an alternative action. That is outrageous. How many carrier facilities are there in Dayton Ohio? --- from a wrong facilities to my house shouldn't take that long to delivered. If I had a choice now, I would like to cancel the order and buy it from Wal-Mart. Wal-Mart has the same products with lower prices. And I just went over my recent purchases from Amazon and found most of the items are available from Wal-Mart with lower prices. Wal-Mart also offers 2 day delivery, not to mention that you can pick up items at their local stores, which may be possibly in the same day when you place the order. And if you want to return any item, you can just drop it off to the local stores. I am glad to see an online merchandise competitor getting stronger, giving us an alternative place to shop online.

Amazon Removed Voice Recognition From My Smartphone.

My Amazon Firephone no longer has Voice Recognition. Amazon took it off my phone. How can they do that? I own the phone. In this day and age you can't work a smartphone without Voice. I called Amazon three days ago and was told they did remove Voice Recognition. I demanded to speak to a supervisor. He didn't seem to know what was going on and had me try a few things. Then he seemed to find out that it was removed and said they were working on it and I should call back in 48 hours. I waited 72+ hours and was just told they don't know what Amazon will be doing for Voice Recognition. What can I do?

Amazon in Chattanooga, Tennessee - Canceled start day!

I was given a wonderful shift, monday through thursday from 1pm to 11 pm, in a department i knew i had done before, well they email me that oops its been cancelled you need to reschedule so i go and the front desk lady is just plain rude and says well i can give you a part time 12 hours in a department that is much harder are you serious!? You dont think we have families to feed that amazon just decides to change everything because they dont care, especially going through temp were just numbers, another sucker will come along and made to believe theyll be made permanent if they basically work themselves to death but as soon as december is over bye! Wish you luck in youre life now. This staffing agency is a huge joke!! So unprofessional so under trained. Stay away if you can .

I have tried to contact the seller and Amazon for several days I conniver get an answer from seller and Amazon has not responded to my request for assistance . I made a somewhat costly purchase and it is not functioning properly . So am I stuck with this costly item ? and no help from Amazon ~~~I will never purchase from the again . this is an awful way to do business and ii expect this is the new way of Amazon it will all catch up too you. I am sorry for any one that spend any large sum of money on any ting from you and expects good customer service .

Amazon - We purchased a Nikon camera which was sent via 1st Class Sav

The camera malfunctioned and we made the mistake of contacting Nikon instead of amazon immediately. We sent the camera to a nikon authourized repairer and received a call after a week that they could not work on it because it eas not made in america. So, we are not disputing this process made us late in contacting both Amazon and 1st Class but we are protesting that because they sent us a camera that we cannot get fixed here without negating the warranty. Our last communication with amazon advised us that they would refuse any further calls on this claim. We are stuck with an expensive camera that we cannot use or repair. How many of those cameras are out thete?
