Nothing more happened. Amazon just pissed me off, without even apologising for what had happened!

Amazon replied twice to kindly go to hell.....
The machine had to be delivered to my summer house in a village in Sardinia. The responsibility of Amazon and (of course) of its vendors is to deliver at the customer's door. In the order I gave the accurate address, specifying the number of my house inside the village. If Amazon and/or the vendor had difficulty in delivering to my house inside the village, they only had to say so and refuse the order.
I ordered on July 1st and the washing machine was shipped on June 4th. The large and heavy pallet mounted machine was delivered on July 11th at the village's entrance, out in the open air and I was notified by a phone call. My house is 2 (two!) km away from the village entrance and of course it was impossible for me to carry the thing, as well as abandon it on the side of the road. The vendor did not reply to my messages.
I had to hire a local transporter and have the machine carried to my home under the sun and at 40C and at my own cost. I complained to the vendor and received only insults in place of apologies and payment of the extra cost.
I contacted Amazon twice to at least recover my costs: they replied "they would examine this case", but in the end they did not even send a message of apologies. This lack of sense of responsibility, by the Vendor and by Amazon is appalling.

Preferred solution: A refund of extra expenses amounting to $ 75.00
User's recommendation: Amazon can be good in marketing and delivering small items, but beware of external vendors even if sponsored by Amazon, because, when all is said and done AMAZON DOES NOT TAKE AMY RESPONSIBILITY, even if it takes your money!
