After getting the usual runaround from Walmart, ordered my Samsung Smart TV from Amazon. Received my new TV in less than a week during the Holidays! Faithful member forever. Walmart had listed the item as on hand at the store, - it wasn't, said it was available to order, - to deliver in 7 to 10 days, -it wasn't. Amazon delivered on all counts, price, availability, and timely delivery. No one beats Amazon. Would never order from Wal Mart again. Not a trustworthy business. Disputes or complaints are handled very quickly and satisfactorily with Amazon. Just the opposite at WalMart.

Amazon review: Vendor refuses to provide replacement for defective product

on july 25 I received a barbeque thermometer order 111-4272068-1581052 from I-Tronics. the product failed one day after the 30 day replcement time. They promised a replacement and I gave them my address, etc. As of October 23 the replacement has not arrived, From: "i-Tronics - Amazon Marketplace" To: edwinters56@gmail.com Sent: Friday, September 22, 2017 11:01:42 AM Subject: Re: Return policy inquiry from Amazon customer ed winters Hello, After we had asked you to do a hard reset, we had no response from you. Amazon should cut UPS

I love amazon prime and have been a member for years with several family members as members. I ordered emergency supplies through prime to avoid the panic at the grocery stores, and they chose to ship through UPS. Which was awful. Long story short, they didn't deliver and took my box back with the truck "due to Irma." Despite not having my zip code listed in the affected areas, no evacuation orders, and no curfews. They told me I could pick it up the next day at a customer service center - which they then never opened. I was in a crowd of other Amazon prime members that had been screwed by UPS. Amazon did me right and gave me a refund but that doesn't change the fact that I still don't have my supplies and Irma is slowly approaching. The only way UPS will care is if amazon stops using them for prime - because they are clearly not as focused on positive guest service as amazon is. Does Amazon want to maintain a relationship with a company willing to leave people stranded before a natural disaster? Fedex was still DELIVERING today and UPS couldnt be bothered to let me just pick up my package.

I am interested in the 2-in-1 tablet & Phone, I wanted to hear about how it works, not the condition of the box it came in. Has anyone used the phone and LIKED it?

It received 5 stars in the description online. I am a 77 yr senior, I must have a phone that is easy to understand, and use. I am still thinking that I want to try the phone. As long as it doesn't explode or catch fire.

I thought the price is more than reasonable.

I have had several phones, and the only thing I have wished for, is that it does what the instructions says it can do. I'll give it a try, and get back to you.

I have had several experiences with Amazon, all positive. Customer service has always been polite and helpful. My issues were all resolved. In one case a collector plate I ordered arrived broken. Amazon contacted the seller, and arranged a refund. I also received 2 e-mails to confirm that the seller had been contacted and that the refund had been posted in my account. I buy a lot of things on Amazon and I have always been pleased with their service and mostly the quality of their products. One time I bought a bathroom shelf which was of poor quality,. I got a refund with no problem. Amazon is a great company as far as I am concerned and I shall continue to shop there.

Amazon.com is the "gold standard" when it comes to customer service nowadays. I am a Prime member and although Amazon "guarantees" two day delivery, they rely on the USPS to do so, which fails 50% of the time.

In the few cases where I had a problem with the product delivered, the seller took care of the problem with no fuss. All in all, a great company to do business with.

Ups, fed ex have no problem finding my centrally located home. Every amazon delivered or shall I say attempt to deliver gets lost and I'm stuck with customer Service as well as not delivered in 2 days as I pay prime to do. Hate it.

Pre ordered items are probably different than items that can be sold immediately. Amazon has always been good about giving a heads up on whether an item is in stock or not and how many they have left. Sometimes you just have to be patient.
