Bad amazon

At Christmas, amazon is working overtime. Things are smooth and early but never late or damaged. Every other time of the year, service to customers suffers. They seem to think no one else is noticing that they can claim to offer great service all year round when people think their experience so close to Christmas went well. Giving me my money back is not a great solution, when you have waited 6 weeks to receive an item that never came and was never going to arrive. Making someone whole is what keeps them from court but it's not what makes them come back for another try. Amazon is horrendous, I will never be the loyal customer I once was.

I'm guessing you live on a secluded island in the middle of nowhere? Because I order from here about 20 times a year, including Christmas and the off-season, and I've never had a single issue.

Amazon - Failed Delivery Service

This is what happened to me so far on an Amazon order: 1. 05/08: This order (xxx-xxxxxxx-2001006) is supposed to be delivered on Saturday (05/08). A guaranteed next day delivery service was paid by me but failed by Amazon. I spent my Saturday (8 AM to 6 PM) waiting for this package but there was a no show and no notice from Amazon. 2. 05/08: I spent another hour over the phone with Nickeisha to sort out where my order is and also trying to find out when this can be delivered. 3. 05/08: I put a requested to Nickeisha to have one of your customer support manager to call me at 410-xxx-xxxx on Monday. Instead of the phone call I requested I received an email from Sujith S with an 1 month extension to my Prime membership ($8)? $8 for wasting my Saturday? 4. 05/11: Sujith S wrote me an email and said that the Fedex will deliver my package tonight at 7:30 ( I have email to prove what he said) but then I got an email from Fedex saying they tried to deliver my package at 10:30 AM but no one is home so will try tomorrow. Amazon represent lied to me? 5. 05/11: A manager (April D.) finally called me at 4:30 PM and told me that I cannot have my package tonight and Fedex will deliver it on 05/12. I have to go to Fedex and request a delivery for evening delivery MYSELF or they will try to deliver it at 10 AM again when no one is home. When I logged into Fedex website I found out I have to pay to do that. What???!!! 6. 05/11: Compensation: They can only compensate $80 for my my Saturday all day staying at home and my time on the phone to track my package and my time to write the email to follow up on my order. $80??? The guaranteed delivery service is a great promotion tool but only if you can make sure you, Amazon deliver you promise. If you cannot somehow maybe work on how to make sure your customer are happy with your screw ups. Anyone can tell me how to escalate this to Amazon HQ in Seattle? PS: I have all emails from Amazon customer support team and delivery status screen shots saved for any future reference.

Amazon - Curio Cabinet was not delivered on time

Details
My Pulaski Curio cabinet was ordered on April 22, 2015. It was to be delivered on Thursday May 7th. The shipping process did not start until May 6th, when it left California. (This is being sent to Indiana). As of today May 11, I still have not received the Curio cabinet. I Was promised today, but I got a call this morning and they told me it would not be delivered today. I still don't know when it will come. I have a time scheduled for tomorrow, but no guarantees are given This is very frustrating, because I have to schedule this around my work schedule.

Amazon is selling defective Apple I-phones

I really don't understand that how coma an online leader Amazon.com is selling defective I-phones to its customers. I bought an Apple I-phone 6 Plus yesterday and today they delivered a defective piece to me. I was shocked when i came to know this. I spend more than 50000 on Amazon and see what i got. They don't have any quality check procedures before dispatch and they are not customer oriented. I am suggesting to others that not use amazon for an online shopping. Products are having no durability and reliability which are selling by Amazon. I will never use Amazon.com. Pathetic Service.

Amazon Attempting to Coerce Customers into Buying Amazon Prime

I googled "is amazon intentionally delaying shipping" and came across this site. Amazon used to ship items right away, but now delay at least a week. One my most recent order it is two weeks. On the other hand, USPS used to take longer to ship items, now it takes just a couple of days. When I see my items--that are in stock--just sitting in their warehouse, I try to cancel the order ("not guaranteed"), then I search until I find a way to email them. Vendors tend to speed up their orders if you contact them. (Amazon treats them very badly and they are afraid of bad reports, so they may expedite your order. I won't cause them to spend extra on shipping again.) Amazon seems to be "punishing" me for my frequent emails asking about my orders. The most recent order (in-stock) from the get go said it would not ship for two weeks. I was also overcharged, but saw I had an extra $10 "point/bonus/something" from Amazon with no explanation. It is confusing when you note how much your order was and then get credit card charges for varying amounts--especially when they do not add up to the total. Amazon is attempting to coerce those who use free shipping to sign up for Amazon Prime. So what if the USPS has improved their services and sends packages more quickly, that does not mean Amazon should downgrade theirs!

If you're not willing to pay for the service, then don't expect to have your product expedited. Other people are paying to get their's faster, so they will get prioritized.

Your's is still arriving in the time period they told you it would, so they're not lying or doing anything wrong.

If you need it faster, then either pay for the expedited shipping or go to a local store to buy it. That's the price of doing business online.

Amazon - They allow seller abuse and dishonest buyers

You can do everything in your power, ship the item same day, oh wait USPS messes up your package, THE SELLER WILL BE ALLOWED TO GET A BAD RATING FOR IT, NO FIXING OR HELP. Then a customer says "hey I never received the item in the mail box" Than they open a claim "oh I only receive 1 item out of 4" The buyer got their refund and the claim is now my fault. Your income and business will suffer from things not your fault, open your own website, or eBay will protect you more against people like this. Run far from Amazon, they make you walk a thin line that is nearly impossible to do, this company is very messed up to sellers, very cold.

Amazon Echo Review from Bensalem, Pennsylvania
I requested an invite to purchase the Amazon Echo. I requested it before April 7th, the request deadline/cutoff Amazon set to still receive the $99 promotional price. I received my invite on April 21st but Amazon is charging $149. They are back-peddling, claiming that not only did the invite request have to made before April 7th, but the invite also had to be received by April 7th. This is NOT what they advertised before the April 7th deadline (see photo). They lied and it leaves a bad taste in this customer's mouth.

Amazon - Worst customer service..ever

1.0
Details
I purchased an item through Amazon with a warranty. The seller was removed from Amazon, and I was unable to file a warranty claim. I was told by two Amazon agents that Amazon would cover the warranty or replacement since the seller could not respond. I waited for the refund as promised..which never arrived. I filed a complaint with the BBB. I also provided a chat transcript of the agreed refund. I also requested Amazon to produce the audio recording of the second agent's promise, which they did not. Of course, no refund was issued, buyer beware. I will never purchase from Amazon again.

Amazon said one thing and then said oh well the other person shouldn't have told you that

Details
I made a purchase from Amazon based on what the Amazon employee told me on the phone. They said to call back if it didn't work out and they would make it right. It didn't happen and after hours on the phone and getting nowhere I am hoping you can help. I am an Amazon Prime member and buy most of the things online thru Amazon. Yesterday I was searching for dodgeballs. I found a site called http://dodgeballs.com/ It said that it was an authorized amazon associate. It even had the Amazon buy now button. Well I saw what I wanted at a great price http://dodgeballs.com/shark-skin-special-set-of-6/ I clicked the Amazon buy now button and it took me to the Amazon site http://www.amazon.com/o/ASIN/B004ZLTYJI/?tag=interestin018-20 The price was much higher. So I contacted Amazon online and chatted with Umang. Umang says that nothing they can do. I said I am not happy with that answer so I want a customer survey with comments. He said that when I click the end chat button the survey will pop up. I clicked end chat and no survey. I figured since he lied to me about that maybe he just didn't want to fix the problem. I contacted Amazon again thru online chat. I talked to Dave this time and cut and paste some of the previous conversation. He says that it can be fixed and that he would have someone call me to resolve the issue. I made it clear that if all they were going to do was tell me nothing can be done not to waste our time. He said no they our trained in this and will resolve it. When you resolve something to me that means they will make it right and not give the answer of nothing we can do. Especially since I said don't call me if all you are going to do is say sorry nothing we can do. The chat shows that Dave says they are calling. I said they called and I answered. He confirms that the call was connected and disconnected. I have the chat logs from Umang and Dave and I will attach them along with the screen shot of the item I wanted to buy. I thought about recording the call to make sure that everything was told to me would be help up on their end but I didn't. I cannot remember the name of the lady I talked to but she says that what probably happened is that someone just entered the wrong numbers in and I can either wait till they contact the seller or have them fix the price or I can purchase the item and then contact the seller asking for a refund. I was clear when I said so what happens if the seller says no? She said to contact them and they will contact the seller to work it out. I said and if that doesn't work? She said then Amazon will refund the difference out of their own pocket. They have a 100% AtoZ claim program. I said great sounds like I am covered. While she was on the phone I placed the order from dodgeballs.com and was sent to amazon again. I said does it matter that the site I started at is dodgeballs.com but on amazon it is sold by Great Lakes Sports? She said no that is probably a parent company and it is all the same. Ok good to go. I placed the order. I then contacted the seller thru the Amazon contact seller button telling them what was discussed with Amazon. Today they replied back and said that they are not affiliated with dodgeballs.com and cannot refund the difference. They received the order but they know nothing about dodgeballs.com. I then contacted Amazon and the trouble starts. I call and their message says they are recording call. When I talked to a person I said I wanted to record the call also. They hung up. I then contacted Amazon again thru their online order page and had them call me. I went thru the whole story and I was told that they have no authorized amazon associate program. He put me on hold and when I was on hold I looked the program up. There is all kinds of information on how to be an authorized amazon associate. https://affiliate-program.amazon.com/gp/associates/agreement/ I told him that and then he says that he was wrong. He says that they are not associated with Dodgeballs.com I said then you are going to put a report in and have them remove that from their website and the buy now button from their webpage. He says they cannot make someone remove that statement. I told him he is nuts if he thinks I am going to believe that if a company says they are with you and they aren't that you cannot make them remove that. I told him once again what the woman told me the night before about they would honor the price. He says that even if she did say that she was wrong and they don't have to honor what she said. I asked for a supervisor at that point and went thru all this again. It was pretty much the same thing. Oh well you shouldn't have been told that but we don't have to honor what we told you. I said I just want to make sure I am crystal clear that you are saying you guys can tell me whatever you want and then later tell me well that person should never have told you that. She said are you recording me? I hadn't but I was like sure why not and was about to when she said you cannot record me and she hung up. The Amazon website says your call has ended if you want to call back click here. I tried to click again to have them call me and it kept saying ooops cannot complete the call. I tried many times. I had to call back thru the general number. I get someone on the phone again and I have to go thru the *** again. I ask for a supervisor he kept saying he can take care of it. I mentioned about recording the call and he said that by policy we cannot record their calls. Yeah right. Their policies cannot tell me what I can or cannot do. I asked for them to send it to me. What do you know they can't. Anyway after asking many times to speak to a supervisor they transfer me. I tell the story again and the woman says you cannot record me. I said I am not. But I wanted to know why I can't since they can record the calls. They said they do it to record for business transactions and for training. I said great because I want to record this call for the same reason. We went round and round about that. I kept asking her why I cannot record the call. Is it because you guys have learned from Comcast that you guys will get burned for saying wrong things? She kept saying I do not consent to recording the call. I got irritated and told her are you having a difficulty with the word why? I want to know why and I already told you 3 times I am not recording. I wasn't getting anywhere because her answer was well they should not have told you that I would be reimbursed the difference because they cannot price match. I said she never called it price match because it was supposedly from an authorized seller. She said that it would be reimbursing because of the price mix-up. After she kept saying the same thing over and over I asked for her supervisor. She once again said I cannot transfer you if you are recording the call. I said see this is why I would want to record the call because obviously you cannot understand the words I am not recording the call. She was more worried about being recorded then the actual issue. After being on hold for about 10 minutes (maybe they thought I would hang up but I was already at 59 minutes on that call) Chris R. answers. All he would give me is Chris R. I could not get an employee number or anything else to differentiate him from any other Chris R. It was like talking to the previous person. They could not give an answer on why I could not record them but they could record me. He kept saying that the woman last night should never have told me what she did but it didn't matter because they won't do it. I said so you are saying that your employees can say whatever they want and it doesn't matter? The customer is hosed? He says that they will address the issue with the person I talked to last night and train them on what they said was wrong. I asked for that person's name so I could have a record of it. He says that there is no record of the call or who I talked to. It only shows that I talked to people today and to people online last night. No phone call last night. I said the online chat logs show that Dave says they are calling me now and that I will hear some hold music. I then told Dave that they called and I am on hold. He confirmed they called me and then he left chat. So how is it that those logs show the call was made to me but the call that shows you guys told me I would be reimbursed is missing? Pretty coincidental isn't it? I said see this is why people want to record conversations with companies because it's a he said/she said. He said that they would train the person and I said how you can do that when you have no clue on who to train or what exactly they said other then what I said. He said we have our ways. I said so then you have the log of the call? No. Then how can you train anyone when you have no idea what department they work or who they are. He says I am not going to discuss with you how we train people. I said yeah because obviously the only training you guys get is how to say I do not consent to you recording this call and hang up. They have since cancelled the order but I lost all that time dealing with them and if I had limited funds I would have to wait till the funds were cleared back so I could go to make another purchase at a different website that is cheaper than amazon. Why would I make a purchase at Amazon and pay more than buying the same item from Walmart for cheaper than but not as cheap as the dodgeballs.com that linked to Amazon. It irritates me that they will hang up as soon as they think they are being called but announce you are being recorded every time you call. The biggest thing that irritates me is that they think they can tell customers whatever they want and not be held accountable for it. They just say oh well they should never have told you that. I asked Chris R. what would have happened if I didn't email the seller right away. What happens if I waited a few days and by the time they got the email they had already shipped the item? Would I be stuck with paying the much higher price because of what your employee told me? Or would you refund me the difference? He says I am not going to answer a hypothetical question. I said you should because I would like to know how screwed I would be if I listened to anything else one of your employees would lie about. If you would make me pay the higher price even though an employee said it would be reduced then that says never to buy from you. If you would reimburse the difference then that means you can do it but you are refusing and that I should never buy from you. All I wanted was them to honor what the woman told me on the phone. That all I would be paying is the 37.99 and not the 94.99 per set.

Amazon - Shipping Service Review from Kulpmont, Pennsylvania

1.0
Details
In October of 2014, i noticed orders from Amazon.com not being fulfilled correctly. I was being charged for expedited shipping when not actually receiving expedited shipping. I have not received items in an order containing mulptiple orders. Sometimes the orders are fulfilled directly from Amazon.com and other times from 3rd party merchants listing on their website. With regard to the 3rd party merchants, Amazon.com takes a hands off approach to resolving issues where these parties list items or charge extra for shipping services they dont actually provide On an order that they are specifically charging you for. In the end, Amazon.com is an innefective mediary for arbitration in these issues and a great source of frustration for purchases. Hours, literally, of explaining the issue can be expected on phonecalls after being transferred from one representative to another. Frustration does not adequately describe the process as it is beyond frustration. With regard to purchases from Amazon.com directly, the level of incompetence in shipping the entire order as described becomes unbearable as you eventuaally have an issue so often you have to take cell phone video and pictures of your order and opening it because the high frequency places suspicion on the consumer versus the incompetence of their own employees in their shipping department. After 5 months, i was forced to close my Amazon.com account because of these issues. It was an account i had for years. A month after closing, on april 3, 2015, i reopened my Amazon.com account hoping for a better response. As of today, April 23, 2015, i have had 3 issues on 6 orders total. 3 issues in less than 3 weeks and 50% of my orders placed in that time. The process from filing their A-Z claim and guarantee is beyond arduous. The representatives are sarcastic and combative, at a bare minimum, dismissive of your position and complaint. They benefit from predatory, 3rd party merchants, and it is withthose same 3rd party merchants, NOT THE CONSUMER, that their priorities lie with these types of conflicts. Consequently, the consumer ultimately loses on refunds and returns as shipping fees are never reimbursed by 3rd parties through Amazon.com. Quite simply, they deny this but the bottom line speaks to the contrary. For example, a person can make a 20$ purchase and lose 5-15$ in shipping and return fees, if not more, for an item they ultimately never receive and one which results in weeks of emails and hours of phonecalls with Amazon.com customer service. It is a shame that Amazon.com has deteriorated to this state. Even worse is trying to find a comparable medium online that they dont own where the fear of their incompetence and mismanagement wouldnt loom over every purchase. Please consider my words with great caution. I was a crazed Amazon.com fan for years but am now deleting my 2nd account. There will not be a 3rd.

Bought a new motherboard from Amazon fulfilled by antonline. The board was defective out of the box. made a claim with amazon and after 6-7 emails and calls they denied the claim and back the seller that we don't accept returns and I have to fix the board on my own expenses (with Gigabyte CS). Now not only I am out $150 for the board, i paid another $23 to ship it to CA so Gigabyte fix it and god knows what else I have to pay. My question is why a paying customer have to lose Time and Extra money on a new product? Lesson Learned: I will NEVER shop on Amazon EVER again!

They (Amazon) stole $10,000.00 of my money and charged me $2,000.00 to do it!

I was a seller on Amazon. A competitor said my items were counterfeit. Without any investigating on their end, Amazon suspended my account even after I proved, (including my own customers feed back stating the items are real), now they are refusing to issue any of the money due me. They have not paid me one red cent and will not let me talk to anyone to resolve the issue. And yes, I went through all their hoops, still nothing. They are refusing to pay me any money due me. And told me there is no one that can do a *** thing about it!

Amazon - Kindle Free Time for Kids- LIED to!!

I was told that with a prime membership, the free time unlimited subscription for the kindle fire would be $2.99 per month, then I was billed 4.99. When I disputed it, I was told it is always 4.99 even though the website clearly still states it will be 2.99 for those who have a prime membership. Totally lied to as a customer. Emailed and called to complain to the company and they hung up and didn't respond. They are deceiving customers and blatantly lying in order to make money. the customer service is the worse I have ever dealt with. I should of just bought another ipad.
