reported unknown charge to Amazon 2 weeks ago. I'm Still waiting for my $50.87 gift card balance to be returned to me. Also my chat and call me now is blocked. All 3 #s from this residence is blocked!!

Amazon - My Order was "Undeliverable" and I never got a refund

Details
Half of my order became undeliverable and seems to have been returned to Amazon, but I never got any refund. It said on page "refund will be processed in 3~4 business days." I haven't got any refund for weeks. I tried to call customer service to ask about it, but it seems like they are not answering calls lately. I was billed not by my order but by the day shipments were made. This made it quite confusing!

Amazon - Lack of customer service phone and online support

I placed an order and need to pay with several Visa Gift Cards. I used one of the gift cards, and needed to put the other one in, but I could not. The system would not allow me to go back and input the other gift cards. I'm not sure if I'm going to get my order or not. When I tried to call I received the standard COVID-19 message. I know there are some customer service representatives working but the system hung up after the message. When I went to Amazon.com/help, that didn't help either. I am very unhappy because I should be able to get the help I need if I'm spending my money.

Amazon - Gift card balance scam

Details
I put funds in Amazon gift card balance. Then I see the option to buy a Netflix gift card and go ahead and order it. The cashier automatically selected my gift card balance to pay for the gift with no problem. I process it and then I get my account blocked. They requested documents. I sent them and they said it was not enough. They kept my balance and kept me blocked. Not even a refund from something the system allows me to do. That is a scam. They do not help. They just kick you out without warning. Once they do, you will hardly be able to to talk to customer support

User's recommendation: Do not load balance to Amazon. Gift cards are not reliable.

You apparently were not watching months ago when you went to Amazon for something like e-books, etc. and they asked you if you wanted a trial of Audible.

I believe the box to affirm this is already checked to say yes, but that was some time ago I saw it. In any event, you agreed to the trial, didn't cancel after whatever time the trial ran, and they commenced to charge you for it monthly.

Thus, you problem started with you agreeing to the trial; then not cancelling it in time; and then, to compound the error you failed to verify each and every charge on your card monthly---resulting in monies being lifted from your account on a regular basis. All in all, a good learning lesson.

Do an online search for something like "amazon.com locked account" and see if others have had the same problem, along with a resolution. Or, go on Amazon and click the help button and proceed from there with your question(s) and the answers they provide.

Don't expect Amazon to encourage customers to actually talk to customer service reps. They don't---hence, the difficulty in actually finding a phone number to a real, live person.

Amazon's removal of phone support

Amazon used to be a strong customer support company. Today, when I found out about their removal of phone support, I decided I will never buy an Amazon product again, and will terminate my Prime account as soon as possible.
