Amazon - Phone charges

Phoned Amazon in january was on the phone for less than 20min Most of that was because i was put on holed just got my phone bill Was charged 120pounds that is disgusting, there must be a cheaper Number that c an be used, least to say i will n o t be phoning Amazon again.

Amazon - Horrible

Had a amazon gift card and tried to order a book. Amazon would not honor their own gift card and charged my credit card so I canceled the order and called customer service. They couldnt get the gift card into their computers either. Today I find out the order was sent with charge to my credit card.

Seriously? YOU screwed up the address.

How in the world is Amazon, or UPS for that matter, supposed to magically know that you omitted a vital piece of information?The driver would have left the location by the time you received the email. They are not going to go back out there to deliver something when YOU made a mistake and didn't catch it.

They have rules and regulations and policies to follow - yes, if they receive the new information after 5:30pm local time, you'll get it the next available date. You people need to take ownership of your own actions and mistakes.

Certain items, like consumables that the seller is trying to push their monthly refill service on, are Prime Member only. You need to read what you're trying to buy, it's really not complicated.

Look, I'm no fan of Amazon but nothing that you said here is true.You were not "baited and switched." There are certain items you can only buy at Amazon.com unless you sign up with Prime. A large majority tend to be grocery items.

So you have to look under every product description to see whether you can buy it outright or whether you have to sign up with Prime to get it. Every item is clearly marked as such. The checkout button will even say "Try Prime" and there will be text that says, "Exclusively for Prime Members."With that being said, yeah, the whole concept behind Amazon Prime sucks. It looks like Amazon is trying to turn itself into some kind of BJ's/Costco type outfit where you have to sign up first to buy anything.

It's why I'm barely on the site now. Why bother with Amazon if I can just buy at eBay or go to my local BJs?

complete fraud. amazon started charging my card fraudulently and after 3 months of phone calls they refuse to cancel the account.

they told me to dispute the charges with my credit card company.

The screed above is pointless. The NRA was not responsible for the Florida school shooting. I was not aware of any connection between the NRA and Amazon, and would be surprised if there were, from all I know of Bezos.
