Amazon has both an instachat option and a customer e-mail that they respond to within 24 hours. I've used both many times with NO issues.

I agree delivery service has/is getting worse. I had 4 shipments to the wrong address.

No explanations, no feedback. Today item was not delivered as it was scheduled. A lot of time spent trying to correct these issues.

Never a problem when USPS was delivering. AMZL has serious issues.

Agree that Amazon made a mistake dropping ADF. In doing so, they aligned themselves w/ the anti-1st Amdt crowd that fears freedom of speech.

Amazon - WORST Customer Support on the face of the Earth!

My son received a gift, sent directly to him from Amazon, for Christmas. The package had no order number, just a gift card that had no order information on it. We sent the item back as he already had the book and read it months before. I sent 30 minutes on live chat with Customer Support in order to get a label to return the book. They had to look up the information since we did not place the order. I spent another 45 minutes going over and over and over how to return the book and for him to receive credit on his account so he could order a replacement book once he found one. Just found a book that will be released in June that he wants and low and behold, there is no credit on his account for the returned item! I spent another 30 minutes on Live Chat, again, with Customer Support trying to find out where his credit was. Turns out that Amazon did NOT ever credit anyone for the item! Just today they created a refund for the book ON THE ACCOUNT THAT SEND THE BOOK, NOT MY SONS! Basically, they are not competent enough to handle something that should be as easy as a gift exchange. I HATE Amazon. I wish they were not such a huge force in the online shopping arena! It's all find an well as long as you don't have to return anything!

I had an amazon account 6 years ago, canceled it after the awful customer support. Just opened an account 5 days ago, the account has been blocked 4 out of these 5 days.

All customer service can tell me it, "we don't have access to your account here. All we can do is send an email to the department that unblocks accounts." I will never rust them with my money again.

The main flaw with Amazon's delivery is they now tend to overly rely on the USPS for deliveries. Thus, their vaunted 2 day "guaranteed" delivery is hit and miss.

The other problem as in your case may be the vendor selling you the product. If Amazon sells a product and ships it the odds are all will be fine. If a third party vendor sells and ships it, then all bets are off although Amazon keeps track of individual vendor complaints, etc.

Not having any specifics about your order, etc. it is difficult to determine where the fault(s) lie.

Type yoAMZL US is the worst carrier I have ever had experience with. Failed delivery # 1: said they "could not locate my address." Any GPS takes you directly to my building.

Failed delivery # 2: I happened to arrive home from work when tracking said the driver was 2 stops away. I stood OUTSIDE waiting for the driver. They said they "could not access my building." No one even CAME to the building, and I know this because I was STANDING in FRONT of it!!! I called Amazon Logistics and spoke with a representative who kept apologizing.

I asked if they could contact the driver (still in the area,) and tell him to come back. They said they can't contact a driver once they set out. The representative said I could have my package delivered to my work instead, since the receptionist is there all day. I said fine and figured I could get it at work.

Failed delivery #3: THEY DID NOT CHANGE THE ADDRESS! The driver couldn't deliver to my building. Package was sent back to Amazon and I will be refunded. AMZL US is the absolute worst carrier.

They are incompetent. When you contact them, they simply apologize yet they do not listen. They tell you they will fix the problem (i.e. changing the delivery address) but then don't actually do it.

I have been an Amazon customer for years and never had a major issue with USPS, FedEx, or UPS delivery. The problem lies with the Amazon carrier, AMZL US.

Unprofessional and incompetent. If you are expecting a package delivered by this carrier, chances are you will never receive it.ur message here

Amazon's algorithms for detecting fake reviews are utterly unfit for purpose. You join a very large and growing crowd of people who have had genuine reviews deleted and/or been blocked from participating in Amazon's "community".

The algorithms pull genuine reviews by their thousands, probably millions, and leave fake ones standing. Consumers cannot trust Amazon and should look elsewhere. Amazon customer disservices cannot deal with the issue because their only script is to reply "computer says no". How we get anyone to listen to the fact that their algorithms are broken and the programmers should go back to sweeping the floor I have no idea.

Make as much noise as possible. Tell anyone who'll listen, post about this everywhere, pursue them under data protection regulations but above all BOYCOTT them 100% right now and don't look back.

I have only had to return one item to Amazon a few years back when I inadvertently ordered a duplicate of a dvd. I had no problemed returning it at all. The last few items that I have ordered in the past year, including two this year have been delivered without a problem, in good condition and as described.Guess I have been lucky.

Why would you blame Amazon for another company's employees? Your complaint is with UPS, USPS, FedEx etc...

Amazon can not control where a package is left when delivered. We have three different delivery people for the USPS. One brings mail and packages to the front door.

Another one puts the mail in the mailbox at the street and the package on the edge of the porch and the last one honks her damn horn until I come out and get the package myself! You think that's Amazon's problem?

I apologize, as I reviewed it I realized I did not expressly say it was Amazon's AMZL shipping service. Furthermore, FedEx, UPS and USPS all service my workplace during the normal business day whereas AMZL sometimes arrives during normal business hours but in this case did not.

Either way, I received notification that a delivery attempt was made so I am taking them at their word concerning the delivery attempt.

Based on that, I don't see why I should leave a negative mark against the seller. I confess I do not know how sellers determine who the shipper will be so maybe they are culpable and complicit in determining that AMZL is their shipper of choice but I was giving them the benefit of the doubt that as Prime was paying for the shipping, Amazon had a say in who the shipper would be.
