Amazon Drive, Desktop App Tech Support - Single Worst Customer Experience, Including Airlines

Amazon Drive's Desktop App - AND the "technical support", is the single worst customer experience I've ever had, and that includes airlines. Your software has scrambled and duplicated the files on my computer to such an extent it will take DAYS to MANUALLY fix the problem. Throughout 2 MONTHS of phone calls and emails, all I've done is go in circles with you. It took a month to get a response from app developers. When that finally came, I had one very simple question to comply with the suggested fix. And still, I get the runaround. Amazon has had I don't know how many chances to address this problem. All you do is pass the buck. Today was the last straw. I was on hold with a supervisor for over an HOUR and the call was disconnected. No one bothered to call me back at the number you have on file. So I called again. More time and frustration. I DO NOT DESERVE TO BE TREATED THIS WAY. The files I was trying to sync to Amazon's cloud drive were mostly pictures and video of our only son. It was my mistake not setting a backup beforehand. For a company that claims to be "customer obsessed", this has been a real slap in the face.

Cancelled service they not only charged my card once for 98. Which cost me 35. Overdraft at bank and then took 11. The next one and gave another 35. Over draft so in the end i got 70. In overdraft. NICE. Thanks for Nothing

It sounds like you got a free trial and didn't cancel. How Is that Amazon's issue?

You should really read participation agreements before you sign up. It says that you will be charged after the free trial is over.

This is your error, not Amazon's. Maybe you should complain to your bank.

Amazon - Horrible, horrible delivery.....horrible, horrible customer service!!!!!!!

This is the second shipment within 30 days that I've experienced the same horrible service. When I ordered, I was given an approx. ship time. Both orders, the item was shipped with an arrival date multiple days later than the delivery info on the item (before I paid) Then, both orders were reissued a 2nd extended arrival date when they fail to show on time. I am sitting here after 5 customer service calls without any answers. My order has missed the 2nd extended arrival date, again. Amazon customer service tells me they'll check with UPS and I get put on hold. Eventually after 10 minutes I get dumped into the main customer service hold "for the next available agent". Pathetic.

You do understand mistakes happen? They canceled your order.

Amazon never charges the card until the package is shipped so there is nothing to refund. You sound crazy. And what does being American have to do with anything?

In fact your whole "complaint" makes no sense. Amazon canceled your order,it happens, move on.

Amazon - Stolen money

Through a mixup with Amazon I was shipped 2 orders of camera equipment. I was charged twice even though I returned the second shipment. They have the merchandise, I have proof of their receipt of merchandise including photos yet they will not refund my money. This has been going on for months. They keep referring me to a “supervisor” who does nothing. In the end they basically said too bad although I have proof.

Amazon - Cyber Monday bust

I ordered two kindles on cyber Monday. I chose to get 8 gb. Below it has colors so I clicked the colors I wanted. When I got the package it only has two cases in it . I Live chatted with customer service ( which acted like I was lying about ordering tablets) I tried to explain that i didn't order tablets. Finally she connected my to another operator who said that he did a replacement order and my tablets will arrive within 48 hours. Great I thought I was happy. Until I received two more empty cases. I contacted them again and even sent a copy of my conversation with previous operators and told them that I was supposed to receive tablets. I was basically told to deal with the fact that I wasn't going to get the tablets at the cyber Monday price. I am so disappointed ... And very upset

But you knew you owed them some money and didn't bother to get online like you are now and find out why you didn't get a bill.

Sounds like you horsed around and racked up a few past due payments(perhaps with late fees). Since you didn't make these payments in the past, the money should be sitting right there ready to go.

I am a sixty year old woman with six children and loads of experience shopping online and store front. Being tired of standing in long lines at the major retailers I decided to do something different this year and buy all the things that I need, including all my Christmas presents, online. I tried several different major online retailers, including Ebay, HALFBAY, Over-Stock, etc., and the best retailer, by far, is Amazon. Their prices are extremely competitive and if you look for their daily deals and specials, their prices cannot be beat. Their site is the easiest to navigate and their return policy is superior to any other return policy I have seen on the web. If you don't like something, for any reason, you can return it, postage prepaid by Amazon, and over the past five months I have returned at least 20 items for one thing or the next, because I am a perfectionist, but I turn around and buy another 20 items from Amazon, to replace the returned items, because their service is so good. What I do, as a seasoned shopper, is read the consumer comments on the product before I buy it. I look for the five star items with the best price. I also read the comments where the buyer only gave one star, and see if it may apply to me. This method has not failed me and now I have all my Christmas presents bought, that are high quality, highly rated and I still have that great return policy just in case. Their sellers are held to high standards concerning the quality of their products and their customer service. The consumer gets to comment on all these points. I have bought at least $2000.00 worth of goods over the past few months so I know what I'm talking about. Plus with Amazon Prime you get two day shipping! I live out in the boonies and I still get my items in two days. Oh, and again, return shipping is totally free! No, I do not work for Amazon with these rave reviews. I'm just a consumer that does not have money to waste and who is tired of being ripped off by retailers, who sell cheap junk with no warranty and no return policy. I'm frankly tired of throwing my money and junk products in the garbage. Shop on Amazon and you can't go wrong.

I ordered "Zinus 5 Inch Low Profile Smart Box Spring." Got email from Amazon on Thu 11/30/2017 that Delivery Attempt failed on Wed 6:39 PM, also Thu 3:32 PM. Got another email on Fri. Problem is for all those Failed Delivery Attempts, there is "NONE" notices left at my front door or my mailbox. Called Fri night Amazon Customer Service, promised to ask the Courier to deliver by Sat morning ... Waiting and wasting my Sat morning time ... Nothing is coming to my house They have been good so far, but this time after waiting since Wed to Sat, I have to write this complaint!

I had the same experience where I tried to post a negative review about Amazon (ordered a supposed unlocked, new cell phone but it wasn’t and when I asked for a replacement they wouldn’t but said to reorder; the item’s price had jumped over $200 at that point. They just want your money.), and then they wouldn’t post it.

A few days later I get an email asking why was I returning so many items, where in the past I would return the same amount of items and never get an email.

They don’t want any negative reviews about them and if you try it’s like the mob or union, they will shut you up and harrass you.

I spent several hours in attempting to correct this error. I want full compensation for my time in correcting their error:$

Amazon - Prime orders do not arrive when stated

Every day after the order was due I receive a notification that the order will receive it that day and for three more days it has not arrived Customer service said it arrive today and it did not. Amazon says now it will arrive tomorrow and UPS says a couple days I have asked them to refund my prime fee I told them that they had promised in writing They freaked out I would suggest this as a course of action that could lead to a class action solution

Amazon - No heavy accents in customer service, also knowledge of how to get correct information from customer to take care of problem in short time.

I contacted them on Tuesday to report remote not working for Fire TV. I was given a phone number to call, then transferred three times. Went through all steps to correct malfunction. two and a half hours later I was told the systems was not working and I would get a call on Wednesday to get replacement on it's way, no call. Called back on Thursday. Man on phone was hard to understand, condescending, and rude. He said he was sending an email with number to call to resolve my problem. no email came through. I was tired of hearing him laugh and sigh because email did not come through , so I hung up.

Chinese criminals now permeate amazonsuppliers,no vetting by amazon

Its true,amazon does absolutely no vetting of suppliers or any security checks,,anyone from anywhere just clicks on and pays a fee and immediately they are " supplier" this is exposing the public to criminals,fraud,,theft ,,,defective products and then amazon does nothing to refund,,even though they say,,,they refund,,,they dont and amazon reps do nothing and if someone complains too much ,,amazon just closes their account, so now you have criminals from china and also within the States, posting products that they dont ship,,,3rd and sometimes 4th seller and then the suppliers are not even in the USA and not legitimate,,Amazon is working because everyone assumes,,,,public assumes they are doing vetting and securtity ,but the dont,,and then its a free for all for the criminals,, amazon is now just a platform for anyone who pays to say the sell products ,,etc and the complaints and fraud and defective products,,,,all keep mounting ,,And CEO only cares about the price of amazon stock
