I had unrecognized charge. Upon contacting amazon customer service, I got no help. I could tell they had information that could have possibly resolved this issue easily. Spoke to two people, one kept interrupting me and both really wouldn't help at all. I eventually hung up and disputed charge on visa card in effort to get some information from them. In the past, I had purchased lots on Amazon - probably no more after dealing with them. In addition, try finding a place on their site to give feedback to Amazon itself - good luck. But they are more than willing to have customers review the sellers on Amazon. Interesting.

I bought today a Kindle Fire HDX 7", HDX Display, Wi-Fi, 64 GB (Previous Generation - 3rd), i bought it because there was a promotion on the right side showing 5 easy payments for it, for $50 / month, it seemed great (It was not financing, it was a promo)! After initiating the purchase, my card was charged for the entire amount. I called the customer service, of course they did not know which promo i was referring to, so i have decided to cancel my purchase. Believe it or not, i will have to wait for 10 days to get a refund. I make purchases all the time on Amazon, so i know what i saw. I did not take a screen shot of the purchase page, so it is my word against Amazon, too bad, after 10 years i will close my account. This is a scam and i am sure people get charged for the entire amount but they don't complain. I tried to repurchase the same product (but the promo was gone, one by IP address? Maybe.)

I also have had lots of issues with Amazon. A year ago I ordered a camera & got it in 2 days on a Sunday.

Almost ever since that everything is late. To me its false advertising. Everything I buy is prime. Its says get it by a certain date which is 2 days.

I just got a email saying it will be 3 days.

That is if i get it even then. It was great when I first joined, but not anymore

Amazon prime is NOT what it used to be. Clearly stated below an ad: Get this item by Thursday if you order before..... Then you order, and what shows up??!! Your order is guaranteed by Thursday xx- Friday XX. Uh? WTF !! Im Leaving Thursday and want the part when I specified! Otherwise Id NOT Order it!! Jerks. Bait and Switch !! If they would Just SAY you'll get it No later than Friday, but hopefully Thursday, That would be honest! its assumed that *** happens in shipping, but now Amazon prime "expedited" service is a Week! and two days, could be 5 days, as they are now taking up to 3 days to Just ship the order! HOW is that 2 day service??!!!! Bait and Switch is very clear, too, when your order details get switched in the delivery date.

I ordered costumes off Amazon. The items stated 3-5 days shipping, but the email receipt said 5-7 days, so I contacted the seller within 3 hours, pointing out discrepancy. The next day (a Sunday) I was asked to upgrade or cancel, and so I responded within 1 hour to cancel. Then, I was told it was too late. I filed a claim stating I had emails and screen shots of our conversation, and received a generic response. No only did I not get a shipping refund, but I was charged a 20% restocking fee! A $41 purchase, and I was only refunded $25. Manager not returning my calls. PLEASE order elsewhere for the principle of it.
