Amazon - Slippers Review from Peoria, Arizona

I ordered slippers for my wife off Amazon. I ordered a pink pair and blue pair. I was sent two blue pairs. I contacted Amazon, and returned the wrong pair immediately, as instructed. I was not offered the choice of replacing the item, just returning it. Amazon deducted $6 for the return shipping. I just think it's poor customer service to charge a customer for returning an item that was not appropriately fulfilled. This tells me that they sent a replacement item and I have to keep it or pay for the item's return. I wish they would have told me that it was out of stock before ordering. Unfortunately, for Amazon I'm closing my account immediately.

Amazon Prime Bait and Switch

My wife and I were enjoying Alphas TV series on Amazon Prime as part of our subscription...today Alphas mysteriously became a pay for view and is no longer available on Prime. I went back and looked at several other tv shows we have been watching and some of them have gone pay per view rather than free. Amazon has lured us in with some great shows then changed them to pay. I paid for Amazon Prime to watch these shows they should remain as part of Prime at least until I can finish the series. I will not be renewing my Prime member ship and after more than 10 years I will be going somewhere...anywhere else for my books and other purchases on line.

I had almost the same situation occur a week ago. The ad said 4 Arizona Cardinals shot glasses like new, I received one. Just not worth it anymore. It takes time to find an item, and when not described properly you have to waste time and ink returning it, half the time I don't even get my refunds. I'm shopping elsewhere. Their customer service is hideous. I feel like I am getting nowhere with this company. I even wrote corporate, do you think they responded, NO! Its going downhill sad to say. I do like my subscribe and save and will just be keeping that in the future.

I requested an invite to purchase the Amazon Echo. I requested it before April 7th, the request deadline/cutoff Amazon set to still receive the $99 promotional price. I received my invite on April 21st but Amazon is charging $149. They are back-peddling, claiming that not only did the invite request have to made before April 7th, but the invite also had to be received by April 7th. This is NOT what they advertised before the April 7th deadline (see photo). They lied and it leaves a bad taste in this customer's mouth.

This feedback is no longer being included in the seller's rating and is not being shown to customers on Amazon website. Your feedback comment: Fast delivery with tracking. However book was listed as Very Good with some highlighting BUT over 50% of pages has major highlighting - not just a word or sentence here and there - NOT very good at all, Not just 'some' highlighting - LOTS. Very Good is for Minimal highlighting. I will NOT buy fm this seller again. Reason for removal: Feedback submitted was a product review and not related to seller. -- Highlighting inside a used book has nothing to do with the publisher nor the author. That is obvious. My review for the seller was not the only one deleted. Another stating problem with Condition of used book is also gone. I asked Amazon about this but received no response. Not allowed to speak directly to anyone in the department that deals with this. I have been an Amazon customer for 15 years. Condition of used books lately has become more often garage sale junk listed as Good. With worst sellers seem to have same or higher rating then actual good sellers who take care when listing the true condition of their books. Amazon has become a buyer Beware site in so many ways, slowly getting worse and worse.

Amazon continues with their standard practices of not posting 1 star reviews unless they are still somewhat favorable either to the seller, the product, or Amazon. Only minor issues are allowed to be expressed.

Censorship at its worst.

To date, I still do not have a full understanding of what is allowed to be said and what is not. The instructions by Amazon of what is permitted are cryptical at best, and confusing and contradictory at worst.

Amazon only allows "positive" reviews even if you give a 1 star rating they still will not allow any negative comments and will bounce your reviews. Their review rules are so complicated and complex that you really do not know what you are allowed to say and what not. First they tell you that you cannot review the product but can only review the service. Then they say you cannot review the purchasing process but can only review the product. It makes no sense. Bottom line: you are only allowed to say nice thing when reviewing on Amazon. If you try to say anything negative about any of their sellers or products that they sell, they have a review department that appears to be all-powerful in rejecting any and all comments that do not enhance Amazon sales.

Beware of trying to submit a negative experience review if AMAZON IS THE SELLER - They won't allow it!

I've spent thousands of dollars on Amazon over the years. I have never had any reviews rejected until now.

I was able to put negative PRODUCT reviews, but if the item was sold directly from Amazon and I had a bad experience with them, I was not allowed to publish the experience. I was honest, I told that they were lowering the price of an item I was buying in bulk by a couple dollars or so right after the purchase of it. When fearing that I would not have enough of the product for future use, I bought it again very soon after the first purchase, only to find that again, right after I purchased the product they lowered the price by over $2.00 per box of this product that goes for almost $30 a box. And I was buying several at a time.

When I discovered and caught them price gauging consistently and called them out on it, they rejected my review and refused to publish it, sending me a link to their guidelines.

I read all the guidelines and I didn't use any profanity or use links outside Amazon, nothing. I just told my honest experience and they declare they welcome HONEST reviews but they don't.

As I have seen 1 star reviews, this is not true, though I agree with the confusing.

If you are rating a product, it should be done on the page about the product.

If you are rating a seller, it should be fine in the page that has the seller info.

Yes, that is true, you can put lower ones but when RATING AMAZON itself if they are the ones that are the store front (when it says SOLD BY AMAZON) and not an individual seller, they will NOT allow any kind of seller feedback, nor can you leave negative reviews when it comes to Amazon the seller.

Amazon review: Bad Delivery Experience

I placed an order on the Amazon Website and was prompted to use my PRIME account. I opted for the expedited shipping because that created a better opportunity for me to get the items by the day that I needed them. However, when I tried to track the shipment there was no tracking information provided. I went to the website and tried to use the Contact Us section but that was no help at all. When I called I was put on hold forever and finally talked to an agent who just emailed me the tracking number. No apologies, no "sorry for the inconvenience". Terrible.

Twice now, I've accepted an Amazon HIT that asks one to go to a site and fill out a form to "just to test that everything works smoothly before we release it." It claims that you must use your real information because it's testing the ability of the software to distinguish between real and fake information. You're supposed to fill out a page or so and then get to a sentence that reads "Coke and Pepsi are now ******* " and fill in what it says in the stars to complete the HIT. But you never get to such a page. What you HAVE ended up doing is genuinely signed up for their site and all their "offers," in violation of Turk policy by "requiring disclosure of the Worker's identity or e-mail address, either directly or indirectly" and "requiring registration at another website or group." I have reported them multiple times to Amazon, yet they continue to re-post essentially the same HIT.

I ordered myself a few pairs of pants for Christmas from Amazon, or whom ever the seller was. Two of the pair of pants were completely the wrong thing. There was no receipt in the packages when they came. I wanted to return them, but who was I to return the stuff to? None of the orders had a receipt in the package. So I had to keep the stuff. I also received a top 3 days ago that I didn't order. So I guess who ever has my card number, will keep sending me stuff and charging it, because I have no Idea where this stuff is coming from. Amazon needs to handle their 3rd party sellers better.
