Refund

I am a Prime Member. The only reason I am willing to shop there is the rapid refund policy on first scan my gift card is refund. This way I do not have to wait a month to try to repurchase. I may no longer need the item by then. These past 3 refunds I had to call in on did not receive back on my gift card after first scan. The first 2 were refunded no problem. This last one tracking shows Amazon has it. Only able to chat at this time Amazon is not taking phone calls why not I do not know you can not catch the Coronavirus over the phone. So Chat Agent tells me although item is at the Return Center it will take another half a month to get my refund. I said why is that it always took a few hours after UPS scanned it in. She said they had to check the clothing I returned to make certain I have not contaminated it. Being already an American with Disabilities I took a lot of offense to that. I guess if you are sick in anyway Amazon will not refund you. I really hate that everyone business is using the Coronavirus as an excuse.

Stolen packages

Account Suspension, no apparent reason, no answers, zero help!

Hello: My Amazon account is continually suspended for no explained reason. I have attached my credit card billing statement to repeated messages, however, the company reply continues to state that "I do not own my own my credit card". I take great exception to any merchant presuming they may ask for such information; and that there has been no concern raised by my credit card company with intended purchases with Amazon, other than: "Amazon has asked for a copy of my billing statement". Please advise as to what was considered to be the so called "unusual activity" stated as the reason for suspending my account; as the only actions I performed was to shop; make orders of items to purchase, including Amazon Prime; proceed to purchase and then provide delivery and billing address for "my address and my credit card billing". As a "CUSTOMER" I should not have to go without explanation, especially if your company is demanding my credit card statement (which any credit card company would advise against such action). I have been treated very poorly as a CUSTOMER (an entity which Amazon apparently reveres). I have attached and submitted my information several times and have been dismissed as though I have done something wrong when I have not. My information and credit account is legitimate and current. It was my first time at online shopping and I never even got to conduct one purchase of the desired products I reviewed. When making telephone inquiry with live agent customer service of Amazon; I was continually redirected to the membership portal online with no help,no explanation as to how something may be misunderstood or resolved. Very time consuming and frustrating. If I do not get answers and respect as a law abiding consumer and CUSTOMER from Amazon, then I will have to revert to a complaint process, inclusive of available government acts and possibly media. Money was taken out of my account for an order that was cancelled 2x. Ive waited the 10 business days and instead of being refunded I got charge again. Ive submitted request and never heard anything back. I really need my money back in despite with everything going on with covid-19 . Im very upset and have no way to physically call them because they dont have a customer service line.

Bad experience with Amazon

Telephone service is way to long on wait time--- Blame it on the virus---but, that cannot be the reason for this kind of service---tried 2 days--- No complaint because I am not worrying or trying Amazon again, Found the same Black & Decker LST300 trimmer on E-Bay, paid a little bit more, but, the service was great.

Locked account

My account has been locked from February. They asked for me to verify my debit card and I did that. I even went in to my bank just to get the most recent statement. I got that and responded to their email. They still didn't unlock my account. My cousin gave me gift cards so that I could buy my laptop and things for school. I am missing out a whole lot from my classes because I do not have a laptop. Due to the coronavirus all classes are online but I can't go online without a laptop.**I would like for my account to be unlocked and for my gift balance to remain the same so that I can process my order. Thanks.

Hello Pattrina: I have read your complain which is very similar to my issue. It's a very frustrating process this company seems to put it's customers through for nothing.

Do you find it intrusive, that Amazon demands to view your financial records? Part of my fight with them is that I do not believe that they, or any other merchant or sales platform, online or not, has the right to ask for or demand that I provide them my financial record or credit card statement on condition of performing a goods and service process. It certainly doesn't happen on any other online shopping sight and most certainly does not happen if I walk into a static shopping mall or store of any other merchant or seller. Many people have wrapped their lives around Amazon and its affiliates because of its conveniences and so forth.

My experience was as a first time Customer with Amazon; and I felt very bullied with their assumptions and demands, while all I had done was follow their processes. I truly believe there is a consumer rights violation here; regardless of any small print user agreement buried in their sign in somewhere.
