Frustration with Amazon Kindle Support
Update by user Mar 26, 2013
I got a call from Amazon two hours after posting my message and sending an email directly to Jeff Bezos. They have apologized for the run around and have solved my problem.
I'm a happy camper now!
Original review posted by user Mar 26, 2013I’m absolutely disappointed with Amazon Kindle Support and I’m hoping that someone somewhere will be able to direct me to someone who might be able to help me out.Let me explain my problem. Less than a year ago, I upgraded my old Kindle to the new Kindle Touch 3G. I had it shipped to my home in San Juan, Puerto Rico.I loved it. But then in January, I couldn’t access the 3G wireless option. I could get online using regular wifi, but not the global 3G. I contacted Kindle Support and spent literally hours on the phone. I spoke with several different customer service representatives – all who were really nice, but could not solve my problem. I was then told to send in my logs and someone would contact me in a couple weeks once it was reviewed. This was January 17, 2013.The end of February rolled around and I had not heard anything so I followed back up with amazon. No answer. Finally, in the beginning on March, I contacted amazon again. I had to explain my story all over again. And we started trying all the options – AGAIN. Nothing worked. They said they would contact me back at a set time. No one contacted me again. I sent several – definitely more than 3 – emails asking for someone with experience with this problem to contact me. Finally, someone contacted me again. We tried several options – AGAIN. Finally, they said that since I had owned the kindle less than a year, they would send me a replacement option. By this time, I was so frustrated about literally spending hours and hours on the phone, I was glad that this mess would soon be over. But then, they told me they cannot send the replacement Kindle to my San Juan, Puerto Rico address. Now, as I mentioned earlier, this is the same place- same city, same country, where they mailed the original Kindle Touch to me. The one I paid for. But now, they can’t send me my replacement Kindle to the same place? I cannot understand this. I asked to speak to a Supervisor. But after waiting and waiting, they told me a supervisor would call me back on Sunday morning. It is now Tuesday morning, and once again, I have heard nothing back from Amazon Kindle Support. I do not want to call back the same customer service representatives that I have been calling, emailing and chatting with online since January. I need to talk to someone who can actually help me. Does anyone have any advice?Thank you,Christy AlmeidaCasgirl3@yahoo.com

I have the redacted correspondence available in PDF, how can I attach?
Original review posted by user Mar 23, 2013I ordered an office chair through the merchant. The merchant sent an email that the product was shipped.I received confirmation of shipment via email through Amazon.com. On the late afternoon, on the very last day of the estimated delivery period, I received an email stating the shipment was cancelled. I had no idea why it was cancelled. It was very upsetting because I kept trying to track the package, but tracking was unavailable because it was sent through the USPS.I thought I accidentally clicked on something that cancelled the order. I had to visit "Amazon.com>My Account>Merchant-Customer emails>" to discover that a message was posted earlier that they were out of the product and they suggested an alternative. If I didn't respond after a few days they would cancel the order. I never saw it, but this does not make the email go away that stated my product was shipped. The order was cancelled and they are claiming I will be refunded.
