Amazon is great
I really love to buy books on Amazon.com. These guys are so reliable. And it is also so easy to follow your order. Really good job. One of the best thing I like is that you can find almost every book you can be looking for, business, scientific, or just books to have fun. Their after sale service is also great. I once complain because they send me two books in two packages although I thought I asked only for one. They reimburse me on the spot and did not make any difficulties. That is why I strongly recommend amazon.com
Amazon.com Complain / Fraud, Refuse to display item seller notes to the customer!
Amazon expect sellers to reflect condition notes for used items, and important item notes in general regardless of what is the condition. ex. let say expiration date, pink packaging (from cancer), restrictions notes (cannot ship to this state as no license, or city does not allow the sale of certain hunting equipments in the example of NY City), rebate instructions, slightly distressed box, etc. With that said, if I have a seller comment, right now a buyer can only see it if he goes to price offers page where all the sellers are displayed for that item; however, even at that page, the seller comment for that item is placed in very unclear spot and only partially displayed, so buyer if they notice it and click on it, then they can see the comment. Unfortunately, "most buyers" buy the items without accessing that page, as there are many buy links in the product detail page, and the seller comment is never displayed to the customer in that case. Now you expect that when a buyer get to the order confirmation page (that shows all the items he bought and about to hit order complete), Amazon will display under each item the seller comment for that item since to insure the buyer see it... but no, AMAZON does not and the buyer will never get to see it. When will buyer see it, after he orders in the order detail page.. what!! u mean to say that a customer missed those notes that are sometimes crucial to the decision buying process. I asked amazon countlessly for the past 3 years to display the seller comment when people place the item in the check out and on the order detail confirmation page (just before he click done). Now you know what Amazon say, it is the seller responsibility if buyer is not satisfied and seller-comment for the item is not important for Amazon to display to the buyer. Man, only at Amazon!
Amazon REWARDING Sellers that BREAK the law and closed my account because I did not!
I sell hunting equipments, and per different States and City laws, I cannot sell/ship certain items to restricted places. For example, cannot ship bow and arrow to NY City, or Ninja throwing star. Amazon allow to sell those items and have many sellers selling them, and they sell some of them too. As a result of the sales restrictions I had to cancel those orders for restricted areas and my pre-cancellation went high to 10% (because I am abiding by the laws as should) and AMAZON suspended my account. I proved to amazon that those items have restrictions and should be execluded from the metrics, or metrics should change for them. You cannot expect to uphold same metric in this case for both books and hunting stuff, as one category of products have no restriction laws while the other does. Amazon said, either list them and you have to meet the metrics (meaning I have to break the law since 10% of orders I cannot ship legally ship), or not sell those items at all!!!! I told them, you are rewarding the sellers who are actively selling those items and can only be meeting the low metrics by breaking the law (or they do not focus on hunting thus numbers are averaged). They got unhappy and said u have low buying satisfaction experience... I told them this is not satisfaction experience, this is a laws that we all have to uphold... Also asked them for solution to show the restrictions in the product detail page on Amazon and also show the seller comment for that item (which I indicate the restrictions in) at the customer order confirmation page because they do not (makes no sense why not despite the many requests)... So simply this is a Metric issue and Legal Exception issue for those items, not Seller-Performance issue... so they shut down my account completely now! Guys, to sell on Amazon it is a requirement to break the laws... they know they are rewarding bad sellers and closing good law abiding ones to satisfy the bottom line! :( What options do you guys suggest I pursue as seller-performance is sadly out of it!

I bought a satellite antenna from Amazon.com (sold by igotyourneeds) for $495 at the end of Feb., 2010. when I received the package, I immediately become suspicious of the package which looked like it was tempered. I tried to return it to Amazon.com (igotyourneeds)...
Amazon is a great company
I always order stuff from amazon.com and when I had issues with shipping they always fix it or give me a refund. I have refered other people to buy from this website they have nothing but great stuff to say about the service they provide, I am addicted to amazon.com, why wouldnt I be they always have the best prices in town they beat out any retail stores thanks amazon for caring about your customers! I even bought a baby car seat for a baby shower we threw at work it was a success thanks to you amazon.com!
Amazon in Sammamish, Washington - Wakes up the neighborhood at 3 AM!
Amazon Fresh delivery trucks wake us up repeatedly at 3AM. The trucks are bang over speed bumps, open and slam doors, open customer boxes, and generally make a racket. Then they start of the engine and the back alarm goes off: beep, beep, beep. Then they drive next door and so the same thing. There's no sleeping through it. The city says that Amazon Fresh won't even respond and basically ignore them. Like construction trucks they should only deliver after 7AM. If Amazon is really a consumer oriented company, they will take into consideration their effects on others sleep.

I bought a television from amazon it was made by coby after 1 year it stop working i called amazon and they told to call coby so i call them and they said ship it to us we'll send you another one to ship is almost 100 dollars it's just a 13 inch add a little more to the 100 dollars i can just buy a new one when i called amazon so i can get a copy of the invoice they tried to say i didn't get from after demanding to talk to the supervisor they found the invoice
I sold a textbook on Amazon.com and purchased delivery confirmation. USPS.com tracks and confirms the package as delivered but Amazon sides with the buyer (Briana Juarez of ALBUQUERQUE, NM) and the buyer reports the item unaccounted for. The buyers money was returned...
