Amazon Customer Service Sucks

First off, I have never written anything about any company before. But Amazon really pissed me off with this one! I ordered some books (5-6) from Amazon.com last December. When I finally had the chance to read one of them, a sticker containing a code for the publishers website was missing. The whole point of the book is to go to the website for a personal test. I called Amazon and asked for a new book. They said that since 30 days had passed, it was my problem. How was I supposed to know that tucked in the middle of this book, my code was missing before I read the book? Since I had ordered so many, I could only read so many in 30 days. I buy about $2000 in books a year. Not one will ever be purchased from Amazon again. Amazon has lost my business forever, and yes I am going to tell everyone they suck!

Amazon in Charleston, West Virginia - The description of my product was totally incorrect.

The description of the product I purchased was totally incorrect. It was a guitar and the description said it had locking tuners, a string through boady and was black in color. The guitar I recieved did not have locking tuners, it had a tremolo bridge, and it was see-thru black. I was already aware of this guitar from other places and would have purchased it somewhere else if I wanted the one they actually sent. When you are paying $950 for a guitar the details in the description are very important. I am very dissapointed in Amazon for misleading me like they did. The guitar did not come with a case either so I purchased a case for it from another vendor and now I have to return it because I have no use for it.

I was browsing on Amazon.com looking for a music cd. I thought I found the one I was looking for and went to a page that shows crdit card info and ordering info. I did not order this nor did I authorize Amazon to use my credit card even though it is on file and suppose to be in a secure place. Well, I got an email saying my order was successful..I called Customer service and explained I looked at the credit card info but did not order. Like other pissed off consumers I was told it will be shipped and then I will have to ship it back to get a refund. Not a good way to keep customers coming back to purchase anything else. I wonder how I can delete my credit card info on file??

Amazon.com they Take your money and dont deliver!!

I have made an order with amazon.com on January 7th. Its now feb.....no product. I have never seen shipping estimates of 1-21 days, and gurantees money back in over a month. All it took was one click to take my money. Amazon needs to restructure its marketplace practices. Requirements of shipping and tracking info should be implemented to better serve and protect comsumers. One month of waiting is absurd and time consuming, to file a A-Z claim. All this time I have been waiting, hoping my product arrives. A month later and now I dont have to guess, now its never coming. Requiring shipping/tracking info will better allow consumers to pinpoint where their product is, and if it has even been shipped. Unless this will change, I will never shop from amazon.

Amazon Keep a close check on your credit card

Recently had an order shipped from Amazon that I did not place. Apparently a person with an e-mail address containing my last name placed an order and it was charged to my credit card and shipped to my address. Amazon is claining that it was an unauthorized charge but I don't think so. Why would someone use my credit card to order something and then have it shipped to my address. I think Amazon had a foulup with their computer system. Their customer service department has been a disaster. They put the burden on you to ship the product back and they play coy when it comes to giving you any information about what really happened. Everyone it would appear is at risk of having orders charged to your credit card if Amazon has a credit card number of yours and they do for anyone who has ever placed an order. This is scary to say the least and I hope everyone will pass along the risk of doing business with this company. Thank you

Before One can purchase from Amazon.com it's clearly stated how many of the interested items is available for sale. Anyway My wife has decided to buy me a program TMPGENC Express 4.0 This items sell for about $86.00 to $100.00 depending of the seller. She had decided to buy my Christmas from Amazon instead of the many other online retailer including the manufacturer because Amazon offered on A disk rather Download version. Anyway the item in question was supposed to be here by Christmas. However it wasn't until December 30th , The same day we return from A trip to Canada, More than 7 days when the items should have been in our mail box that we were notify. that the items in question won't be ship until "22-28" of January. Needless to say it was some kind of joke being played on us by a Bored amazon Staff. After Contacting cust. Service dept. Of Amazon, I realized they are dead serious, and in my second email, enquiring about the fact 5 items were available for sale and immediate shipping when my wife place the order... Below is the answer I got.. Don't forget that my wife had to paid for the item before she could complete the order...
