We're AMAZON Were HUGE we can do whatever we F ing want!

I was at some point deceptively charged for "Amazon Prime" an annual $79.00 charge. At no point do I recall authorizing this charge and demand that I receive documentation supporting this charge. I intend to file a complaint with the State of Michigan Attorney Generals office. I realize that Amazon has already meticulously positioned itself for such occurrences. But consider the negative impact on these actions. I have previously purchased items, music, clothes, etc... This has ended my trust in your company has been ruined and I demand that my account be terminated. I have requested a refund and threw a email confirmation it was explained to me that refunds can take up to 3 days to process. Why then are purchases instantaneously? I would would like to speak to whomever came up with this repulsive ploy to defraud it's customers out of their hard earned money.

Amazon's Publishing Nightmare

Amazon is paying little attention to the product reviews published on their site. As a result, many of the reviews published are propagated from product to product without any relevance. This mistake relates to all products, all editions, etc., be they books, music, cameras, or you name it. For example, read the reviews on any music CD published in several different editions, blue book format, SACD, 1-cd packages, 2-cd packages, extended, remastered, etc. You will find that the same reviews have been propagated across all editions and that what the reviewers were talking about for one version of a CD has nothing to do with another version that was enhanced, remastered, or extended with added tracks, rerecorded, etc. The lack of oversight on what they are publishing makes many of the reviews worthless unless the reviewer specifically identifies the edition by features like release date, format, number of CDs, or other identifying characteristics that allow the reader to tell without question if the review relates to the specific product. Obviously, those of us trying to make informed buying decisions can't rely on Amazon's published reviews.

Amazon.com allowed someone to setup a new account with MY CREDIT CARD !!

** WARNING to Customers of Amazon.com ** I purchased a new cell phone holster on Amazon. com at end of July. At the beginning of August, someone setup a new Amazon account with MY CREDIT CARD and purchased an item for $223.49. I contacted Amazon to dispute the charge when I noticed it on my credit card bill. And I received this email from Amazon --> "It appears the card was used without your authorization, we have closed this new account and cancelled any outstanding orders. We recommend you cancel the card immediately by contacting your financial insititution that issued the card. Unfortunately, is this is the situation, you should know that charges in the amounts of $223.49 were processed by us." How does Amazon.com allow this to happen ??? How can someone setup a new account with MY CREDIT CARD ???

Never buy textbooks from Amazon

Amzon and its supplier are deliberately holding back shipments to force customers to buy more expensive shipping options. and when you buy textbooks that are required by school start, you can get stuck paying them more money for a delayed delivery. esp. because of their sneaky business practices. On their website they say their super saver shipping takes 5 to 10 business days, but they dont event ship for 10 days, and then it takes 5 more days in shipping to reach you thus taking as much as 3 to 4 weeks before you get your textbooks. and the worse thing is the "other" sellers on Amazon are taking their cue from Amazon and doing the same thing.

Amazon Doesn't deliver or refund

I made a few purchases on Amazon, the estimated date of delivery just happened to be on my day off. Unfortunately they didn't make it on that day, which is fine because it is just an estimate. They came on a day that i was at work so I missed the package. It was one I had to sign for, they left a note saying i could sign the back and they would just leave it, or they would come back another day. I couldn't sign the back because my neighbors steal my mail. eventually they got sent back to the seller. I called amazon and asked them what the next step was, they said since i never got my package i would get the money refunded, again this sounded fine to me. Unfortunately it has be 4 month and no refund. No package, no refund. So basically i just gave them money. Every time i call i get the same answer, they will put the money on my card. But when? isn't 4 months enough time?

Amazon Kindle Turned To Amazon ***

I purchased TWO Amazon Kindle readers 1 1/2 ago. They have been well kept, not exposed to water, heat etc. And have been in Kindle covers since we purchased them. Two months ago Kindle1 developed screen display problems that rendered it useless. Two months later the second Kindle developed the same problems. making both units useless. I contacted Amazon (Costa Rica) and was advised it was pretty much my problem. After a calendar year no warranty , no service. But they would be happy to sell me new ones at a discount price (10.00 USD off) I advised that I had researched this matter and it appears that this is a common problem with the Kindle. Also, I may even believe that this was an isolated incident but having two Kindles purchased at the same time go bad within 2 months of each other REEKS of an inferior product. I just want them to do whats right and replace a defective product.

Amazon in Boston, Massachusetts - Slow and disorganized

I ordered a book from amzon and i checked the tracking and it had said that the book is in the state. The book is in a town 30 min away from my town. It doesn't take 5 hours to get the book from a town that is 30 min away. I need the book for a class and it stilled haven't arrived yet and I have already missed a couple of hw because of the book not arriving sooner. A fedex truck went to another house and delivered their package and not my package, they should deliver all the packages on time.
