Amazon in Red River, New Mexico - No directions.....

I recently purchased a Cone Shaped air breather kit. Chrone covers and good quality finish. Heres the rub. In the sales they say that they do not include instructions for instalation. Ok it must be pretty simpe to install, Therefore no need for instructions. I have a v-twin(M109R) so there's not a lot of pluming there. The problem is suporting these fairly heavy steel parts. I have been building custom bikes since 1999. I have turned out 27 bike of every kind. The problem is not can I build support brackes to mount. It's simply they fact that they include several little brace type parts and about 16 screws 2 of which will fit nothing. I just supicous why no name on the parts and no contact information included in the kit....... no name on anything...... Whats type of products is Amazon selling?

Amazon's "Treasures Christian Books" jacks up retail price over 4X

Treasures Christian Books - hosted by Amazon.com 2745 Chicory Rd. Racine, WI 53403 Amazon.com seller "Treasures Christian Books" charged me $55 for a CD set. You can't make it out on the Web, but the set is clearly marked with a retail price of $12.99--so this Amazon store charged OVER FOUR TIMES the retail price. I thought the seller made a simple mistake, so I contacted the seller and they told me "The price was clearly marked on the Internet and you did not have to purchase the item." They also refused to accept a return and refund my purchase price. This is a CHRISTIAN Amazon bookstore--so I guess this "Christian" seller (and perhaps Amazon) considers it more important to deceive buyers and make higher profits, than to follow Christian principles (like honesty). I'm also VERY disappointed that Amazon would host a seller like this. If I ran Amazon I would immediately terminate any agreement with a seller who PURPOSELY misrepresented products. But of course the Almighty Dollar reigns and Amazon did nothing...

Amazon in Cowpens, South Carolina - Can't stop emails. Fear fraudulent charges.

I signed up for a trial subscription to "newsletters" and a "free" $4.95 book (Aftershock) which I never received. I called by phone and was told my email would be deleted and my trial subsctiption would be cancelled, I selected "cancel subscription" on all emails, and emailed customer service twice. All to no avail. I recieve emails every day and am still choosing "cancel subscription". No luck yet. I fear that now that they have my credit card I will have to cancel my credit card because of fraudulent charges. I have not been charged for subscriptions yet. The book, "Aftershock", which I purchased on Amazon, had some good insights and valuable advice. I recommend the book, but, whatever you do, don't sign up for a "free" "introductory" subscription to gobs of "newsletters" that just won't stop and are laced with mostly psychotic drivel about the second coming, why the president is the anti-christ, how to cure cancer with magic brews, etc. ad nauseum. I don't open the newsletters, but the cover page reveals the deranged content.

Dishonesty at Amazon.com

I placed an order at Amazon.com. They have a program called Reward Points that is tied to their Amazon Credit Cards through Chase Bank. I intended to use the remaining reward points and then charge the remaining balance to the Amazon credit card. If I didn't use the points, I would have selected a different form of payment all together. Well, instead of following my payment instructions, their system threw out the points and charged the whole amount to the Amazon card. I became aware of this through an email I received from Amazon. I immediately contacted their online live chat customer service (I saved this conversation), and the person assured me that there was no problem. Repeatedly the individual misled me, saying that I did not need to cancel the transaction and that the points were used. As I thought, the transaction left out the points. If, as the customer, I knew that there was a problem from the information I had received from Amazon, then the representative knew as well, for their records included the same information I had. I was lied to and misled by this online representative for some unknown reason. All I can assume is that Amazon intends to cheat people with the Reward Point program. And, I should add, that the customer service department, following my complaint, offered me a $5 credit and the right to return and repurchase the item. They do not understand the problem! It is about dishonesty in their employees, and they do not seem to comprehend that it has wasted hours of my time, not to mention their resources because they are paying for the shipping as well as paying the payroll of the employees involved in this issue. The moral of this is that Amazon appears to be cheating people with their Reward Points program, and that they value their dishonest employees over their customers. I suggested that they give the $5 credit to the representative who lied to me because the company obviously values them more than the people who buy their products. I intend to avoid using Amazon and to warn others of their underhanded method of doing business.

Amazon and Fedex

Well, here I go again with Amazon.com. I broke down and started ordering from them again. Well, I didn't do the Free shipping but paid. I have been tracking my package and again when the regular mail gets it to Denver, it got there on Sept 2. Transferred to FedEx Smart Post on Sept 2, then left there here it is Sept 6 and no package yet. It will eventually be delivered to the Post office here which is a mile from the FedEx building. That will take two or three days. Denver is 130 miles from my house. A wagon train could make it in less time. Jeff Bezos needs to stop trying to launch failed rockets and investigate this kind of inefficiency. I don't even know why the postal service even needs to have FedEX at all. That must be why the Postal Service is 9 billion dollars in debt for just this one year. Don't get me started on the P.O. system. By the way...I saw where FedEx is raising the prices. Rewarding inefficiency. That's the American way.
